Effect Of Industrial Intelligence On Employment And Salary In China

At present,with the emergence of a new round of global scientific and technological revolution and industrial change,it has formed a historic intersection with the transformation and upgrading of China’s manufacturing industry.The rapid development of Intelligent Manufacturing in the world has become an important development trend of manufacturing industry,which has a profound impact on industrial development and division of labor pattern,and promotes the formation of new production mode,industrial form and business model.The emergence of technological progress brought by new technologies such as industrial intelligence is bound to have a certain impact on the labor market,play an important role in the adjustment of the traditional labor market,and become a new engine to promote the growth of employment quantity and quality.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influence mechanism and path of the application of new technologies such as industrial intelligence on employment and wages for seizing the opportunity of a new round of industrial revolution,speeding up the rapid development of industrial intelligence and the synchronous adjustment of employment structure,and realizing leapfrog development.In this paper,industrial intelligence to promote employment growth as the main line,first of all,through the study of relevant literature,focusing on the analysis of the impact of industrial intelligence on employment and wage changes path,China’s industrial intelligence process and the basic facts and characteristics of labor force changes,as well as through the econometric model to build the impact of industrial intelligence on employment and manufacturing wages and intra group wage gap Finally,the paper puts forward some policy suggestions from the aspects of industrial upgrading,regional policy,social security,education and training.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)this paper studies the influence path of industrial intelligence on employment and wage changes,and holds that industrial intelligence has an impact on the demand for jobs through the joint effect of substitution effect and creation effect of employment.At the industrial level,the technological progress brought by industrial intelligence can make the production efficiency of different production departments differ,form the flow of production factors across departments,promote the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure,and then affect the change of employment wage.(2)The development status of industrial intelligence and labor market in China is analyzed.Based on the current situation of industrial intelligence and the development of labor market in China,this paper presents the development trend of industrial intelligence and employment simultaneously through the measurement method,which provides a preliminary analysis for exploring the relationship between industrial intelligence and employment in China.(3)This paper explores the impact of industrial intelligence on the employment effect of China’s labor market through the upgrading of industrial structure.Based on China’s provincial panel data from 2001 to 2016,this paper constructs and measures the indicators to measure industrial intelligence,examines the impact of industrial intelligence on employment change through empirical research,and tests the heterogeneity of labor force from the aspects of region,industry and skills.In the further study,by measuring the wage gap within the manufacturing industry,we also preliminarily explore the impact of industrial intelligence on wages and wage gap.Based on the above research,this paper draws the following important conclusions:industrial intelligence significantly promotes China’s employment growth,and has a more obvious impact on the employment growth of the central and western regions and high skilled labor force,which not only intensifies the unipolar trend of employment structure,but also promotes the "Leaping" flow of labor force among industries.Furthermore,industrial intelligence promotes employment growth through the intermediary mechanism of rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure.From the perspective of wage effect,industrial intelligence has significantly narrowed the wage gap in manufacturing industry,narrowed the wage gap between middle and high-income groups,and expanded the wage gap between middle and low-income groups.
