With years of technological development and the government’s vigorous promotion,the Basic Construction of the Internet in China has been basically completed.The government’s work report proposes to comprehensively promote the "Internet Plus" and give more policy support to Internet technology enterprises,while the material living standard of our society is also improving,and the quality of residents’ cultural consumption demand is constantly improving.Under the dual support of policy and material level,the Internet industry has great prospects for development.As an important part of the Internet industry,the online game industry has a huge market space in China.In the rapid development of the online game industry,increasingly fierce market competition,opportunities and challenges coexist in the environment,the profit model has become a key element that affects the company’s development.The profit model is an important factor for online game companies to succeed in market competition.This paper selects one of China’s top ten online game enterprises Perfect World Co.,Ltd as the research object.This paper analyzes the profit model of perfect world game industry by combining literature research,factor analysis and comparative analysis.This paper looks for Perfect World Co.,Ltd financial and business data from 2015 to 2020,takes the four elements of profit model,profit source,profit point,profit measure and profit barrier as the entry point.Using the four components of the profit model combine financial data to make a financial evaluation of Perfect World Co.,Ltd.This paper uses factor analysis to analyze the financial performance of Perfect World in detail,and find out the problems that exist in the operation of Perfect World Co.,Ltd.The following problems exist in the operation of Perfect World Co.,Ltd.The first problem is mobile game accounting too much revenue,profit point is single.The second problem is failing to exploit IP continuity gains.The last shortcoming is that the industry chain is not very collaborative and fails to tap the continuous benefits of IP.Then according to the existing problems to put forward optimization proposals,hoping to be able to online gaming companies and the development of the industry as a whole targeted to give effective recommendations.
