Research On The Profit Model Of Kunlun Online Game Company

As a new growth point of Internet economy,online game industry has become a major pillar industry in China,which has been widely concerned and recognized by online users.At present,the profit models of the game industry are generally one-time paid games,long-time paid games,recharge props charges,derivative businesses around the game and advertising charges.The success of many game companies only depends on one game,and the quality of other games is mixed;The success of large game companies cannot be copied,and it is difficult to imitate their experience.The state has gradually issued a series of relevant policies.The development speed of the game industry is slowly decreasing.Except for large Internet companies such as Tencent and Netease,the profitability of other game companies is gradually stabilizing or even decreasing,Major game companies are also aware of the need to find a unique profit model suitable for their own enterprise development to deal with market competition.Kunlun world wide started with early web games and then transformed into mobile games.Now it has developed into an Internet enterprise integrating game self-developed manufacturers,global boutique game publishers,social platforms and software stores.In this process,Kunlun wanwei’s profit model plays an indispensable role in its enterprise development.Therefore,the study of Kunlun wanwei’s profit model has certain practical significance for its subsequent development and other similar enterprises.This paper uses literature research,case analysis,quantitative analysis and comparative analysis to study the profit model of Kunlun wanwei.Firstly,on the basis of summarizing and absorbing the profit model theory at home and abroad,this study analyzes the existing profit model of Kunlun world wide,including Kunlun world wide’s profit source,profit point,profit leverage and profit barrier,and analyzes its revenue and cost composition.Secondly,by selecting nine similar enterprises in the same industry as representatives,this paper analyzes the business income and various financial indicators of Kunlun wanwei,and evaluates the operation effect of Kunlun wanwei’s current profit model from a financial perspective.Through the research,it is found that Kunlun world wide has certain advantages in game content,marketing methods and channels,as well as the development of multi platform and multi module,but there are also some problems,such as the imbalance of profit points,the need to strengthen the profit barrier,the instability of profit objects and so on.Finally,this paper puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions for the improvement of its profit model,hoping to provide help for enterprises and play a reference role for other enterprises in the Internet game industry.
