| Parenting stress is a type of stress that affects the growth and development of children generated by the process of parents raising children.Parenting pressure will be affected by individual parents,children,parent-child relationship and surrounding environmental factors.This study investigated 112 parents of infants and young children aged 0-3,analyzed the relevant factors affecting parents’ pressure on parenting,and put forward feasible recommendations.This study uses questionnaire survey and interview methods,using self-compiled basic family information sheet,simple parenting stress questionnaire(PSI-SF)and self-compiled interview questionnaire as research tools to investigate the basic information of parents of infants and young children aged 0-3.Information,parenting pressure and influencing factors,etc.After investigation and analysis,this study draws the following conclusions:(1)Parenting pressure of the parents participating in this survey is within a normal range,and the scores of each dimension of parenting pressure from high to low are Parenting distress,Difficult child,Dysfunctional interaction.(2)The gender of the child will not affect the parenting pressure of the parents.Children’s age has an impact on the two dimensions of parenting pressure,parenting distress,and dysfunctional interaction disorder,but the influence is relatively weak.The number of children born in the family has an impact on the total parental pressure of parents,parenting distress,and dysfunctional interaction disorders,but the impact is not very significant.The birth order has significant differences in parenting pressure and its various dimensions,and the later the child’s birth sequence,the greater the parenting pressure.(3)There is no significant correlation between the total score of parent age,parent occupation and parent parenting pressure and each dimension.There are significant differences in the total scores of family monthly income in parenting distress,dysfunctional interaction disorder,difficult child,and parenting stress.Parents’educational level reached a significant level in the dysfunctional interaction disorder,the dimension of difficult child,and the total score of parenting pressure,but there was no difference in the dimension of parenting distress.(4)Social factors are also an important factor affecting parenting pressure.This study found that parents in different regions have no difference in parenting pressure through single-factor analysis of variance.From the interview data,it is concluded that social support and related policies to support parents’ parenting can alleviate the parenting pressure of parents to a certain extent.Based on the above conclusions,this article summarizes the current situation of parenting pressure of 0-3 years old infants and young children,and the relationship between various factors and parent parenting pressure,and puts forward relevant suggestions to infant parents,the government and all walks of life. |
