| Infancy is a critical period of human life development,providing high quality parenting for infants is an important guarantee to realize their future potential.But the parenting of infants and young children is actually a complex activity filled with stress,not only fulfilling the role of a parent and fulfilling the task of parenting,but also coping with the mental strain of life and balancing work and family.This series of activities make many parents tired,easily lead to the generation of parenting burnout,some negative parenting behavior,and then affect the physical and mental health of children.By understanding the parenting burnout situation of 0-6 year old infants’ parents,this study explores the factors affecting the parenting burnout of 0-6year old infants,and helps parents timely adjust their mentality and parenting behavior,so as to improve the parenting ability of parents and promote the early development of children.In this study,503 parents of infants and young children were selected as survey objects,and the status quo of parental burnout of infants and young children aged 0-6was investigated by issuing the Questionnaire of Parental Burnout of infants and young children aged 0-6.SPSS25.0 was used to analyze the obtained data.20 parents of infants and toddlers were interviewed to explore the influencing factors of parenting burnout of infants and toddlers aged 0-6 years.Finally,the following conclusions were drawn:1.The overall average score of parenting burnout of 0-6 year old infants was between 2.6 and 3.9 points,which was at the medium level.There were significant differences in demographic variables such as parental education,occupation,parenting experience,proportion of parenting expenditure,number of infants,age,health status,sleep status and so on.2.Parenting burnout of infants aged from 0 to 6 years old is affected by three factors at the infant level,family level and individual level,among which the infant level includes: the number of infants;A character trait;Three factors of health status.The individual level includes: emotional regulation ability;Self-efficacy;Three aspects of parenting expectation.Family level includes: family economic status;Recognition of the value of the caregiver;The concept difference between family members three factors.Based on the research results,specific suggestions are put forward for the reference of parents,society and future research.According to the above conclusions,this study,based on the three levels of infant parents,family and society,puts forward suggestions from the aspects of how to avoid the generation of parenting burnout,how to reduce the burnout emotion,and pay attention to the mental health of infant parents,so as to improve the quality of family parenting. |
