| As one of the middle managers of the kindergarten,the head of the teaching and research team function a significant role in the good development of the teaching and research work in the kindergarten.To realize the refined management of the teaching and research work in the kindergarten,it is necessary to improve the post competence of the team leader.At present,the competence research in the field of preschool education mainly focuses on front-line teachers and principals,and there has not been any research specifically on the competence of kindergarten teaching and research team leaders.Therefore,this article intends to construct a kindergarten teaching and research team leader competence model by analyzing the characteristics of teaching and research team leader competence.In this study,a behavioral event interview method(BEI)was used to assist the use of STAR tools and NVivo qualitative analysis software.Nine teaching and research team leaders were finally identified as valid data to investigate the competence performance and characteristics of the kindergarten teaching and research team leaders.A kindergarten teaching and research team competence model consist of four dimensions: "personal traits","professional competence","work motivation" and "interpersonal communication".Among them,"personal traits" include six competencies of self-confidence,humility,initiative,aggressive,self-regulation,and sense of responsibility;"Professional ability" includes professional competence,insight,selection ability,planning and supervision ability,organizational ability,analytical thinking,leadership ability,teamwork ability,reflection ability,adaptability,overall coordination ability and innovation ability;"work motivation" includes achievement-oriented,service-oriented and training others."Interpersonal communication" includes two competencies: understanding others,listening and responding to others.In addition,"cultivate others","service orientation" and "responsibility" are the three items with the most reference points under the premise that all samples are included,which are the most common competence characteristics of teaching and research team leaders;and "aggressive"," initiative" and "cultivating others" are the three items with the largest reference points in each sample,that is,the most obvious characteristics of the competence of the head of the teaching and research team.The research expects that the model of competence of kindergarten teaching and research team leaders can provide a reference for the selection and assessment of teaching and research team leaders in kindergartens,provide a basis for effective training of teaching and research team leaders,improve the scientificity of selection,assessment and training,and further improve the post competence of kindergarten teaching and research team leaders. |
