Since the development of educational informatization,teachers’ information technology application capabilities have received extensive attention.In this context,the "Standards for Information Technology Application Capability of Primary and Secondary School Teachers"(Trial)clearly pointed out that the application of information technology is an indispensable professional capability of teachers in the information society,and puts forward new requirements for the application of teachers’ information technology.However,the literature analysis found that the current information technology application capability of undergraduate students is still a weak part of teaching,and the level of information technology application capability is not high.As an institution of higher learning to train undergraduate students,we should pay attention to the cultivation of undergraduate students’ information technology application capability.This paper uses literature research and questionnaires,interviews,classroom observations and other methods.Firstly,based on the "Capability Standards",60 students from undergraduate education,English,ideological and political education,and Chinese language and literature in the second year of a normal university in Xinjiang were selected from the undergraduate students for their information technology application status and training needs.Conduct a survey to have a preliminary understanding of the level of information technology application capabilities of the respondents.Have a preliminary understanding of the level of information technology application capability of the respondents.Secondly,through the analysis of the data,it is found that there is a certain gap between the information technology application capability of the survey object and the necessary professional capability in the Competency Standard.In order to solve this problem practically,the author refers to the "Standards for the Training of Information Technology Application Capability of Primary and Secondary School Teachers"(for trial implementation),and combines the specific needs of the survey object for information technology application training,and designs a training program to improve the application capability of undergraduate students in information technology.The subject was trained for one semester and the training effect questionnaire was designed using the Koch’s four-level evaluation model.Finally,through the combination of questionnaires,pre-and post-test comparison analysis and interviews,and classroom observations,the information technology application capability of the trainees after the training is evaluated.The evaluation results show that the participants have a good grasp of knowledge and skills in the process of training,and can apply it to the actual teaching scenarios,which will have certain influence on the development of the participants in the later period.To a certain extent,it has alleviated the lack of information technology application capability of the participants;it has reached the standard in some aspects of the basic requirements of the Competency Standard;the information technology application capability of the participants has improved;the undergraduate students The post-employment professional development laid the foundation.
