The Development Dilemma And Solution Of Social Work Institutions Run By College Teachers

With the development of China’s market economy system,social contradictions are intensifying and social problems emerge in endlessly.In the context of building a pattern of co-construction,co-governance and shared social governance,social work,with its own practical attributes,has given birth to a number of social work service institutions,among which the social work service institutions led by college teachers are one of the paths for the localization of social work in China.It is of far-reaching impact and significance to lead the social work service institutions by college teachers for the professionalization and development of social work.The development model of social work service institutions led by college teachers is ahead of that of foreign countries and is based on professional education.However,at present,the overall development level of the social work service institutions run by university teachers is relatively low,and there are problems such as small scale,small quantity,lack of funds,lack of projects,lack of human resources,etc.Some even become empty shell.Therefore,how to promote the development of institutions run by college teachers through strengthening the institution’s own capacity building,enhancing external environmental support,and developing diversified resource acquisition channels has become the core topic of the study.The theoretical perspective is the resource dependence theory.This research mainly adopts qualitative research methods,combined with literature analysis,participatory observation,interview and case study method.The first chapter of the study introduces the origin and significance of the research,sorts out the current research status at home and abroad,clarifies the research ideas and theoretical basis,and defines the main concepts involved in the research.The second chapter combs the development process of the national social work service institutions and the general situation of the development of the social work service institutions led by college teachers.The third chapter introduces the local policy background,the current development situation and the basic situation of the H social work service organization led by the teachers of Tianjin universities.This paper summarizes and analyzes the practical difficulties that restrict the development of H institution from the aspects of its own ability,external support and asymmetric resource dependence.The fourth chapter puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of strengthening the organization’s own construction,strengthening the external environment support,and improving the resource acquisition ability.The last part is the summary and discussion of the study.
