Investigation And Research On The Status Quo Of The Use Of New Media In Public Sports Of Colleges And Universities In Henan Province

In recent years,new media has penetrated into people’s daily life,work,and study by virtue of its advantages of fast communication speed,wide range,strong interaction,diverse forms,and rich content,and has played an important application value.During the Spring Festival of 2020,a new type of coronavirus was discovered in our country,and there were deaths and the speed of transmission was slow.Most provinces in my country have issued Level I responses to major public health emergencies.All schools have successively delayed the start of school,and introduced a policy of "no suspension of classes" to start comprehensive online teaching.So far,the new coronavirus has spread globally and has become a global public health event.This has further promoted the application of new media in college public sports.As an important means of cultivating the comprehensive qualities of moral,intellectual,physical,and aesthetic talents in colleges and universities,public sports should "advance with the times" and "new with the situation",and actively use new media and technology to enhance the sense of the times and attractiveness.So,what problems will new media face in the process of applying it to college public sports,how do students view the use of new media and what measures are there to solve the problems encountered in the actual use of new media?This article investigates the current situation and problems encountered in the application of new media to public sports in colleges and universities,and combines the background of the epidemic to explore some of the problems encountered in public sports education in colleges and universities in the face of the epidemic,and then proposes some feasible solutions based on the new media.Taking the status quo of the use of new media in public sports in colleges and universities in Henan Province as the research object,a survey of 8 colleges and universities in Henan Province was conducted,and the conclusions and recommendations were as follows:(1)The evaluation of public sports in colleges and universities in Henan Province is mainly based on traditional evaluation methods,paying attention to sports performance,and lacking attention to the personality development of college students,which requires attention.The ratio of male to female teachers in public physical education courses in colleges and universities is imbalanced;(2)At present,all colleges and universities have carried out new media training activities focusing on the production and use of PPT,established official media platforms,and some schools have also established new media centers and new media studios to improve their ability to apply new media.(3)Under the epidemic situation,under the requirements of the Ministry of Education to “suspend classes without stopping school and teaching”,all colleges and universities have used new media to carry out online teaching in the form of QQ groups,cloud classrooms,Ding Talk,MOOC,and Tencent conferences.The most widely used platform is Dingding.On the whole,students recognized online sports teaching during the epidemic.(4)Under the new media environment,the problems faced by public sports in colleges and universities are mainly reflected in the fact that public sports teaching has less application of new media;the application of new media to sports promotion is relatively backward;the application of new media remains at the preliminary stage;the lack of new media applications System planning.Suggest:(1)Each school encourages physical education teachers and staff to actively use new media to innovate public sports work methods,including providing them with extra class hours,financial support,spiritual encouragement,achievement promotion,and selecting some successful audio-visual video cases,online teaching cases,Micro-course teaching cases are used as learning and reference objects.(2)Physical education teachers and staff must form a normalized new media application mechanism,and apply new media in a regular,rhythmic,and planned manner.Every propaganda work must accurately grasp the characteristics of the propaganda object,set a clear propaganda theme,integrate the selection and use of new media methods,formulate propaganda plans around this theme,and realize the complementary advantages of different media.(3)Schools need to be guided by "curriculum" and "work content",provide special new media training activities for physical education teachers and staff,formulate detailed new media training plans,and set up some cutting-edge,high-level training content.Arrange practical and operational links.(4)The application of new media to public sports activities in colleges and universities will show that new media has become the core force supporting public sports work,new media will be integrated and applied to public sports activities,and new media training and applications will be institutionally regulated..
