With the rapid development of science,innovation and creation has become the basic quality to be cultivated all over the world.China has emphasized the importance of innovation education in the development of the sub-project "Research on the Cultivation of students’ innovation Ability" in the tenth five-year Plan.To train students’ innovation ability and apply innovation education to teaching practice is the direction of educators’ efforts.At present,Maker education in China is still in the exploratory stage.All kinds of innovative teaching modes and teaching methods need to be verified and improved.Students’ personality differences are also important factors affecting the implementation effect of education.This study focuses on the influence of MAKER teaching method on the innovation ability of students with different cognitive styles.Based on literature review,this paper analyzes the classification and cognitive characteristics of cognitive style,and summarizes the application elements of SCS maker teaching method.Based on the theory of innovative education,constructivism and “Learning by doing”,the model of SCS maker teaching method applied in high school information technology classroom is proposed.The model is applied to information technology class,and the influence of cognitive style and SCS maker teaching method on innovation ability is studied by experimental research method.The data of students’ cognitive style and innovation ability were collected by questionnaire survey,and the conclusion was reached by data analysis.Students with field-independent cognitive style have higher innovative thinking than students with field-dependent cognitive style;SCS Maker teaching method can significantly improve the innovative thinking level of field-dependent students,but can not significantly improve the level of students’ creative tendency;In the teaching of SCS maker,the field-dependent students have more influence on their innovation ability than the field-independent students;At the same time,the optimization strategy of SCS Creator teaching method is put forward to balance students with different cognitive styles. |
