In order to explore the mechanism of futuretime perspective and self-control in the process of college students’ physical exercise influencing procrastination behavior,that is,to verify whether there is a mediating effect between futuretime perspective and self-control,the literature reading method questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics method are used.A survey of 1,009 college students from a university in Wuhan was randomly selected.The relationship between college students’ physical exercise volume,futuretime perspective level,self-control ability,and procrastination behavior machine is used as the research object,and SPSS data analysis software is used to analyze the collected data.The statistical analysis shows that:(1)The procrastination behavior of college students is at the upper-middle level,and the amount of physical exercise is low,the amount of physical exercise of boys is significantly greater than that of girls;(2)Physical exercise,futuretime perspective,and self-control can negatively predict the procrastination behavior of college students;(3)Futuretime perspective plays a mediating role between physical exercise and procrastination behavior;(4)The self-control plays a mediating role between physical exercise and procrastinationbehavior;(5)There is a chain mediation effect between physical exercise and procrastination behavior,it mainly includes three mediation paths:the path through futuretime perspective and the path through self-control,through the chain of intermediary path of futuretime perspective and self-control.Therefore,strengthening physical exercise and improving futuretime perspective and self-control are effective means to reduce the procrastination behavior of college students.
