| With the rapid development of modern basketball,the change of attack and defense on the court is faster and the physical confrontation is more intense,which requires the athletes to have more excellent physical quality to ensure that they can play better skills and tactics in the fierce confrontation,and the agility quality is the comprehensive embodiment of various physical quality.This paper explored whether plyometrics training has a positive effect on the agility of youth basketball amateur through the way of plyometrics training,and to provide a reference for the training methods and means of the agility of youth basketball amateur.This paper mainly uses the experimental method and mathematical statistics method to take 20 boys of the basketball class in Zhangzhou Suheng basketball training camp as the experimental subjects.They were stochastically divided into experimental group and the control group,with 10 people in each group.And trained for eight weeks in two different ways.In addition to regular basketball skills training,the experimental group underwent plyometrics training and the control group underwent general resistance strength training in the physical training part of the basketball class.Two groups trained at the same time and in the same field for twice a week,the interval between each training more than 48 hours.Subjects were required to sign an informed consent form and a physical safety questionnaire before the intervention,and to undergo a related physical test before the intervention.The pre-test and post-test of the agility evaluation indexed were conducted before and after the intervention.The obtained data were analyzed and the following results were obtained:(1)The experimental group,after 8 weeks of plyometrics training,the scores of the five agility evaluation indexes were significantly improved(p<0.01).(2)The control group,after 8 weeks of general resistance strength training,showed significant improvements in four evaluation indexes of agility(Illinois test,T-Run Test,30 s bur-up test,cross quadrant jump test)(p < 0.01).No significant improvement in hexagonal agility ball test scores(p > 0.05).(3)The experimental group’s test scores were better than the control group’s test scores in five agility evaluation indexes,and the improvement ranges were greater than those of the control group.The following conclusions can be drawn from the above results:(1)Plyometrics training plays a positive role in improving the agility of youth basketball amateur.The effect of plyometrics training on improving the agility of youth basketball amateur is better than that of general resistance strength training.(2)Plyometrics training can significantly improve the perceptual response ability,ability of changing direction rapidly,ability of change movement,and agile coordination ability of youth basketball amateur,while general resistance strength training has no significant effect on improving the perceptual response ability of youth basketball amateur.(3)Under scientific and reasonable training arrangement and proper supervision and guidance,teenagers can safely and effectively carry out plyometrics training. |
