| The development of contemporary tennis players increasingly relies on the improvement of physical fitness.The characteristics of tennis require tennis players to have good agility,explosive power,endurance,and the ability to move quickly.In recent years,the plyometrics training method has been applied to various events as a training method that can effectively improve athletes’ agility,speed,explosive power,and other qualities.However,due to the different characteristics of each event,the impact on the physical fitness of tennis players still needs further research.Therefore,this paper takes the effect of plyometrics training on the sensitivity and explosive power of tennis majors in sports training as the research object,aiming to prove that this training method can effectively improve the physical fitness and competitive level of athletes compared with traditional strength training,and put forward suggestions for the classroom training content of tennis majors in sports colleges and universities.Using the methods of literature,expert interview,experiment,mathematical statistics and other research methods,this paper selected 30 tennis students of the 2022 level sports training major of Wuhan Institute of Physical Education as the experimental subjects,and used the plyometrics training method as the intervention means of the experimental group(n=15),and the traditional resistance training method as the training means of the control group(n=15),After 8 weeks of experiment,the data between and within the experimental group and the control group were compared,analyzed and discussed,and the following conclusions were reached:(1)After the experimental intervention,the explosive quality of the experimental group has improved significantly,and the six explosive indexes before and after the experiment have very significant differences,and compared with the control group,the proportion of its performance improvement is far higher than the control group,indicating that the plyometrics training can effectively improve the explosive level of tennis players,but the traditional strength training can not effectively improve the explosive level of tennis players.(2)After eight weeks of experimental intervention,the results of the three sensitive qualities in the experimental group were significantly different from those before the experiment,and the improvement rate of the three sensitive qualities was much higher than that in the control group.Therefore,the plyometrics training can significantly improve the sensitive quality level of tennis players,while the traditional strength training can not produce good results.(3)After 8 weeks of experimental intervention,the explosive power and sensitive quality indicators of two groups of athletes were tested.After comparing the two sets of data,it was found that the improvement in explosive power and sensitive quality indicators of the experimental group was much greater than that of the control group.Therefore,it can be concluded that plyometrics training can better develop the explosive power and sensitive quality of tennis athletes compared to traditional resistance training. |
