| In Western countries with developed criminal justice systems,the support and assistance of social workers to criminals can run through the entire criminal justice process.Especially for juvenile delinquents,the companionship of social workers throughout the judicial process has become a clear stipulation of the law.When setting up uninspected departments,procuratorates in all parts of my country also take into account the special nature of uninspected work,and will hire full-time social workers to conduct inspections,social investigations,and psychological counseling.This article uses observation and interview methods as the basic research methods,taking a minor who was conditionally not prosecuted for suspected snatching as a case,and explores the services provided to the client at different stages from the perspective of guarding,helping and teaching,and because of the minor.After violating the agreement on guarding,helping and educating,the guarding,helping and educating is suspended,and the social work service is continued.Through more than half a year of case service,the author has new thinking about the practical development of criminal minors whose social work intervention has been revoked from guarding and teaching,including the reasons for the suspension of help and education,the conditions for service continuation,and the potential difficulties faced by the service.In the context of the goal of protecting minors and preventing them from committing crimes,the author provides social work services to minors involved in crimes in this type of special cases by observing,assisting and educating them,and conducts judicial organs’ expectations and social work under the judicial framework.The practical exploration of the combination of goals reflects on the limitations and development aspects of the current social support system for criminal minors. |
