| Based on the theory of task-based teaching and ability,this paper studies the influence of task-based teaching on multi-level ability of secondary vocational students by using case study method,and selects the representative Guangzhou Vocational School of Tourism &Business as the research case,and conducts field interviews with some students of the school.From the perspective of two grades(first and second grade),four majors(high-star hotels,tourism service and management,tea and tea marketing,exhibition service and management)and two types of teaching(theoretical and practical courses),studies the influence of task-based teaching on students’ multi-level ability in secondary vocational tourism courses.Through theoretical research and case analysis,this study concludes that: First,the task-based teaching of tourism courses in secondary vocational schools has a positive impact on students’ multi-level abilities,including :Task-based teaching has a positive impact on students’ basic competence(ability to understanding,mastering,applying,judging and analyzing);Task-based teaching has a positive impact on students’ advanced competence(ability to hands-on operating,problem-proposing,problem-solving,cooperating,communicating,decision-making,executing,exploring,migrating,independent-learning,thinking);Task-based teaching has a positive impact on students’ extended competence(ability to organizing,coordinating,innovating,difficult problem-solving).Secondly,from the perspective of different grades,different majors,different types of teaching,the influence of task-based teaching on students’ multi-level ability is different,including : Task-based teaching has different effects on students’ multi-level ability from different grades;Task-based teaching has different effects on students’ multi-level ability from different majors;Task-based teaching has slightly different effects on students’ multi-level ability from different types of teaching;Task-based teaching has different effects on students’ multi-level ability from different types of tasks.This study expands the task-based teaching theory and provides some reference significance for the practical application of tourism task-based teaching in secondary vocational schools. |
