Vocational education is an important part of China’s education system.In recent years,China has placed vocational education in a more prominent position in education reform and economic and social development.Secondary vocational education is an educational platform for training skilled talents for the country’s economic development.Only by vigorously developing secondary vocational education,carrying out educational reforms in accordance with actual work needs,and cultivating new-type skilled talents that meet the needs of the industry,can secondary vocational education meets the needs of social and economic development.With the continuous growth of China’s car ownership,the automobile insurance industry has an increasing demand for skilled personnel who can meet job needs.Since 2017,China’s new energy automobile industry has entered a stage of rapid development,and the automobile insurance industry needed more professional new talents with skills.However,the basic knowledge of secondary vocational students are weak,and there is a general feeling of study weariness among them.The traditional teaching mode cannot stimulate students’ interests in learning.Teaching reforms are needed to adapt the knowledge learned by students to actual work,stimulate students’ interest in learning,improve teaching effects and cultivate new-type skilled talents to meet the needs of the automobile insurance industry.The automobile insurance and claims course is the main course of automobile operation and maintenance in secondary vocational schools.It lays the foundation for students to engage in automobile insurance work.It has the characteristics of strong operability and wide application.Starting from the actual situation,this article found out the current teaching status and existing problems of the automobile insurance and claims course in secondary vocational schools on the basis of visits and investigations.Based on the analysis of the research results and the consulting of a large amount of literature,the feasibility analysis of the application of action-oriented teaching in the secondary vocational automobile insurance and claims course was carried out,and the action-oriented teaching was applied in the auto insurance and claims course.This article discusses in detail that the teaching design of the transformation of automobile insurance work practice into a learning situation and the transformation of typical tasks of posts into learning tasks.It also discusses in detail that the main teaching methods and teaching implementation process based on action-oriented teaching.Taking role-playing method and project teaching method as examples,it describes the action-oriented teaching design and teaching implementation process in accident site investigation and new energy vehicle damage assessment learning tasks in detail.The action-oriented teaching is adopted to introduce the practice of new energy automobile insurance and claims settlement into the teaching,so that the knowledge learned by students can meet the development needs of the new energy automobile insurance industry.The author used the action-oriented teaching to conduct a one-semester teaching practice in the experimental class.Comparing the final results of the experimental class with the control class,the excellent rate of the experimental class was 17.6% higher than that of the control class;the good rate was 14.8% higher than that of the control class;and the average score of the experimental class was 14.6 points higher than that of the control class.All these indicated that the application of action-oriented teaching in the curriculum has significantly improved students’ academic performance.Action-oriented teaching not only promotes students to master job skills,but also establishes job awareness and adapts the teaching contents to the practice of automobile insurance.The increase in the teaching contents of new energy automobile insurance practice has broadened the students’ horizons and adapted to the development trend of new energy automobile insurance.
