The social work major attaches great importance to practicality,and its internship has an important place in its entire education.The social work professional internship can improve the professional quality of the related masters and convert theoretical knowledge into practical one.After the study of social work professional internships,social work masters and practical knowledge,it is found that the existing studies which mostly start from the perspective of educators focus on issues related to internship education;while,these studies,less from the perspective of internship,focus less on the professional reflection and experience summary and the construction of professional knowledge during professional internships.Therefore,this article adopts qualitative research methods and takes T University 2018 masters majoring in Social Work as the research object.This article aims to explore their practical knowledge formation in the internship,and the problems and solutions encountered in that formation.First of all,the cognition status of practical knowledge in the internship is analyzed from three aspects: individual cognition,values and emotions,and specific practical actions.The practical knowledge in the field of cognition refers to the interns’ cognition of the social work profession and the macro-social environment.The practical knowledge in the field of values and emotions refers to the interns’ understanding of the social work values and the sense of meaning of social work.The practice knowledge in the field of practice refers to the flexible and individualized actions the interns take actively during the practice.Secondly,the formation of practical knowledge and the difficulties encountered in the internship are analyzed in the article.The formation of practical knowledge has mainly three stages: the interns’ integration of professional knowledge and practice,the criticism and reflection of classroom knowledge,and the consideration of professional service issues in a macro environment.The difficulties encountered in the formation of practical knowledge lie in the poor mastery of professional knowledge,unclear understanding of roles,insufficient attention to interns by institutions,and no effective supervision system in schools and institutions.Finally,according to the reasons for the difficulties,suggestions and measures are put forward to ensure and promote the formation of practical knowledge in the internship from the three levels of interns,internship institutions and schools.
