Study On The Phenomenon Of “Mcdonaidization”in MSW Professional Practice

Nowadays,the development trend of social work in China is rapid,which cannot be separated from the continuous improvement of the education of social work professionals in China.Among them,social work internship is an extremely important part of the education and training of social work professionals.In addition,the quality of social work internship directly determines the effect of social work internship and plays a key role in the professional development of social work.However,from the current reality,although China has realized the importance of social work practice,the practice is not satisfactory.In this paper,an American sociologist George Ritz,as the analysis of the phenomenon of put forward by the path,with “Mcdonaldisation”efficient,computability,predictability,can control these characteristics for the study of theoretical basis,in the process ofresearch using interview method and literature research,combining with X university MSW professional internship status of colleges and universities,from colleges and universities,institutions,social work MSW professional internship these three levels to explore the present situation and problems of the professional practice.And combining the theory of “Mcdonaldisation”developmental thinking,and at the same time analysis MSW professional internship “Mcdonaldisation”phenomenon and its causes of the impact of the reasons,the reasons mainly include the lack of professional practice education innovation in colleges and universities blindly pursue high efficiency,lack of professional social work mode innovation simplification result,the intern's own attitude to "obey" controllability of these aspects.In the end,it puts forward that the improvement of social work internship should focus on quality rather than quantity in the process of professional internship education.The rationalized countermeasures and Suggestions for colleges and social work professional institutions to jointly open up a new evaluation path for professional practice.
