Farewell To Anxiety:Application Of Casework Intervention To Alleviate Anxiety Of Civil Servants In Government Offices

Nowadays,Anxiety has become a word that is mentioned more and more often,and has received more and more attention.Anxiety is a kind of instinctive emotion,everyone will have anxiety,normal anxiety can help us to deal with emergencies,but long-term anxiety will affect our mental health.As the "main force" in the ranks of cadres in China,civil servants in government departments play an extremely important role in assisting Party committees and governments in formulating policies,promoting the implementation and guaranteeing services.The mental health of civil servants in government departments,to a great extent,determines the effectiveness of work efficiency,work quality improvement and career sustainable development.However,in reality,civil servants in government departments have anxiety problems caused by occupational pressure,work pressure,family pressure and other aspects,so their attention still needs to be improved.In particular,the attention to the relief of anxiety is not enough,the social research on the anxiety of civil servants is not much,the degree of attention is not high,the use of scientific means to study and improve the anxiety of civil servants is imminent,far-reaching and very necessary.In this research,the author adopts the methods and skills of professional social work research and practice to investigate and study the current situation of public servants’ anxiety in S Department of Z City,Guangdong Province through Survey,and Analyzes the current situation and characteristics of public servants’ anxiety in departments.According to the results of the investigation and study,targeted selection from S Department,a civil servant,using American scholar Lorna Garano and Edmund Bourne,in their book dealing with anxiety,puts forward nine ways to relieve anxiety,improve coping skills,on the case for intervention services,provides the director of professional guidance,help him reduce anxiety problem,improve the ability to cope with anxiety,help him in a more healthy body and mind into work and life status.Through this research,the author comprehensively summarizes and reflects on the theory and practice process of professional social work,especially the case work intervention to relieve the anxiety of civil servants in the government departments,and draws the conclusion:First,the effect of case work intervention to relieve the anxiety of civil servants in government department is more remarkable.Second,the 9 methods of alleviating anxiety and improving coping skills proposed in dealing with Anxiety can effectively alleviate the anxiety of the client,which is highly targeted and operable in practical work and worthy of promotion and application in subsequent case work.Third,environmental factors have a great impact on the anxiety environment of civil servants in the agencies involved in case work.By creating a comfortable and cozy environment for the clients,social workers are more conducive to improving the actual results of anxiety alleviation.
