With the advent of educational information age,the limitations of traditional classroom teaching of Plant Protection Technology in secondary vocational schools are increasingly prominent.The main manifestations are as follows: the teaching evaluation system of the course is mainly summative evaluation,while the content and form of process evaluation are relatively simple;The teaching method based on instilling teaching leads to the lack of communication and interaction between teachers and students,which leads to the low interest of students in learning and the insignificant learning effect.The effectiveness of classroom teaching is not timely,accurate and effective feedback.Comb to solve above problems,the author in the application of the hybrid teaching mode in the secondary classroom teaching present situation and the related theoretical basis,together with the present situation of Tianshui a secondary vocational school teaching and rain classroom teaching platform,the characteristics of the gardening technology professional "plant protection technology" course has carried on the design and application of hybrid teaching practice research.Through questionnaire survey and analysis,it was concluded that it was feasible to apply the mixed teaching mode to the teaching of Plant Protection Technology in a secondary vocational school in Tianshui.Combined with students’ preference for mixed teaching mode,the author has carried out 28 hours’ practice on the teaching contents of "Basic Knowledge of Plant Diseases" and "Plant Pest Investigation and Integrated Control Technology".Taking the first section of the second chapter of the course "Plant Protection Technology" — "Overview of Plant Diseases" as an example,The application process and effect of mixed teaching mode in pre-class,in-class and after-class teaching are elaborated.The results show that the blended teaching model has good teaching effect,active classroom atmosphere,close interaction between teachers and students,and students’ learning interest and initiative have been greatly improved.Students are happy to accept this teaching model and hope it can be applied to the teaching of other courses of Horticulture Technology.It is believed that the mixed teaching mode is feasible and effective in the teaching application of "Plant Protection Technology" course in secondary vocational schools,which can promote the teaching and learning of teachers and students to a certain extent and improve the problems existing in the traditional teaching of "Plant Protection Technology" in secondary vocational schools.Its advantages are as follows:(1)The blended teaching model makes the process evaluation no longer single,and can be relied on;(2)Mixed teaching mode can activate the classroom atmosphere and enhance the communication and interaction between teachers and students;(3)Mixed teaching mode makes both teachers’ classroom teaching effect and students’ learning effect get timely,accurate and effective feedback,and the teaching quality is significantly improved.
