As the core part of personality structure,physical self-concept is very important for personal life adaptation and mental health,and it is often concerned by psychologists and social educators.The period of university is just the key period of the development of physical self-concept.Participating in sports is the best way to understand your body and maintain physical and mental health.Volleyball,as a popular sport in China,has a broad mass base,and the "women’s volleyball spirit" inspired countless people.Volleyball class plays an important role in the composition of college physical education.Learning to play volleyball helps to develop one’s physical quality,cultivate one’s interest,and improve one’s cognition of one’s body.Volleyball pass technology as one of the important technology,students learn is a certain difficulty,volleyball front hand pass is through the upper and lower limbs coordination force,through the fingers,wrists flexible force will pass the ball to the designated position,in the actual teaching process how to let students quickly master this technology,learning is to need teachers to explore and research.Through literature review,imagery training is widely used in the field of sports,which is an effective teaching method.This study starts from the ordinary college students’ Physical Education Learning volleyball frontal two handed pass technology,through literature review,expert interviews and other ways of data collection,select Northwest University grade 2019 volleyball elective course students as the experimental object,randomly divided into experimental group and control group,the two groups in the number of men and women,the same sex ratio,using experimental intervention to study the two groups The students in the control group were only taught by traditional volleyball passing,while the experimental group were taught by imagery training.Before and after the experiment,the students in the two groups were tested by sports imagery questionnaire and physical self description questionnaire,which intervened the learning style of college students from the psychological point of view :1.In the process of college sports volleyball teaching,the use of imagery training can help students master the skills of passing faster and improve the technical level of volleyball passing.2.Compared with traditional teaching methods,the use of imagery training in teaching can help students improve their imagery ability.3.In the technical teaching of college sports volleyball,the use of imagery training teaching is obviously better than the traditional teaching methods to improve the teaching effect of teachers.4.20 class hours of college sports volleyball pass technical learning can improve students’ physical self-awareness level.5.The use of imagery practice in the teaching of college sports volleyball passing skills can improve students’ cognitive level of their own body.
