Research On The Institutional Change Of Academic Committee In Colleges And Universities

As an important part of the internal management system of colleges and universities,the academic committee system of colleges and universities plays an important role in training senior talents and promoting academic development.Academic committee is the most important carrier of academic power in Colleges and universities.As an important part of modern university system,the academic committee system of colleges and universities can effectively guarantee the smooth operation of Academic Committee in the University.In 2014,the Ministry of education clearly stipulated the establishment of Academic Committee in Colleges and universities.The construction of academic committee system has entered the stage of diversified development in Colleges and universities.Therefore,in the process of comprehensively deepening the comprehensive reform of higher education,it is necessary to enrich the research on the system construction of Academic Committee in Colleges and universities.Based on the research perspective of historical institutionalism,this paper takes the academic committee system of colleges and universities in China as the research object,explains the historical development stage of the academic committee system of colleges and universities in China,explores the internal logic in the process of its evolution,and analyzes the overall characteristics of its change,so as to provide a path choice for the future reform of the academic committee system of colleges and universities in China.Based on this,the specific content of this paper mainly includes: the first part is the introduction,which mainly explains the research background,significance,thinking methods and related literature review of China’s University Academic Committee system,and specifically expounds other related concepts of China’s University Academic Committee System and historical institutionalism institutional change theory;In the part of theoretical overview,it introduces the relevant theoretical contents of historical institutionalism,and explains the feasibility of historical institutionalism in analyzing the institutional change of Academic Committee in Colleges and universities in China;Based on the historical institutionalism’s method of dividing the stage of institutional change according to the key nodes of historical development,the basic process of institutional change of Academic Committee in Colleges and universities in China is divided into four stages: embryonic stage(1897-1949),fracture stage(1949-1978),reconstruction stage(1978-2010)and diversification stage(2010 to now);In the part of internal logic of change,this paper analyzes the internal logic of institutional change of Academic Committee of colleges and universities in China by combining the structural view,action view and historical view of historical institutionalism;The overall characteristics of the change part analyzes the basic process of the institutional change of the academic committee in Colleges and universities in China,focusing on the advantages and disadvantages of the institutional change of the academic committee in Colleges and universities,the coexistence of diversity,and the combination of three forces;Finally,the paper summarizes the full text and puts forward the prospects for the reform of the academic committee system in Colleges and universities in China.
