| MOOC,as the representative of a new type of education and teaching,has been hailed as "the biggest innovation in education since the invention of printing".It has set off a wave of informatization in the education field,and has brought opportunities and challenges to teaching management in higher vocational colleges.With the development of MOOC,the author invited each of teaching affair administrators,teachers,and learners who have experienced MOOC in Fujian S Higher Vocational College for a theme-specific interview,and gave each of them a set of questionnaire to investigate the teaching management in the context of MOOC,so as to discover,sort out,and analyze the current teaching management in higher vocational colleges when it came to dealing with new problems of MOOC.This paper attempts to explore the improvement the teaching management in Fujian S Higher Vocational College in the context of MOOC from the five important sectors of teaching management,including teaching resource management,teaching quality evaluation,student status management,and teaching team construction.First,in terms of teaching resource management,the vocational college should learn from the management of curriculum resources in Japan,reform the training model of talents,and build the system for sharing vocational education and teaching resources from the three aspects of self-construction in the school,introduction outside the school,and cooperation between the school and enterprises.Secondly,with regards to the teaching process,the vocational college must first adapt to the dynamic changes in the learning ecological medium,before focusing on formulating teaching plans that meet the characteristics of higher vocational education in terms of talent training,and finally improve the evaluation system for learning integrity and the system of rewards and penalties.Thirdly,the vocational college should draw lessons from the successful experience of European and American countries in terms of the teaching quality evaluation for MOOC and the mutual recognition of credits,improve the system of teaching quality evaluation in the school,and at the same time,establish a student status management system concerning inter-college credit acceptance so as to relieve the learners’ worries.Fourth,in the construction of a teaching management team,starting from material subsidies,internal incentives,and atmosphere building,the vocational college should establish a comprehensive incentive mechanism to cultivate the teachers’ teaching competence,information literacy,and teamwork,as well as to create conditions that are conducive to building a professional management team.In short,the application of MOOC provides innovation for the society to improve the influence of education.Fujian S Higher Vocational College should actively participate in teaching management affairs to create an optimized,modernized,and intelligentized management environment so as to adapt to its development. |
