This article aims to discuss ways to promote the role of group counseling Positive Psychology Perspective on pupils’ emotional intelligence, which enrich pupils to enhance emotional intelligence methods. In this study, Wuxi Donglin fourth-grade students for the study were divided into experimental and control groups, the control group without any intervention, the experimental group once a week for a total of 14 positive group counseling.Before the experiment, after each experimental group and the control group to implement the Emotional Intelligence Scale test, during the experiment, the subjects were tracked for record of growth. By quantifying qualitative data analysis and summary of the material, the positive effects of group counseling for evaluation.The results showed that:promote positive group counseling for students emotional intelligence, especially in the individual internal components, adaptive component, the overall composition of the three dimensions of emotional intelligence have a significant effect. On interpersonal composition, pressure management ingredient, the general mood component, positive impression on the four dimensions of components, no significant effect, but the experimental group before and after the test scores have improved. The control group had no significant changes in all aspects.The study reached the following conclusions:1, children emotional intelligence can be improved through effective training.2. Actively group counseling for the promotion of pupils emotional intelligence have good results. The results of this study are suitable for use in primary schools.
