| In recent years,higher education for the disabled has made rapid progress in China.Physical education plays an important part in higher education for the disabled in China.As a special group in colleges and universities,visually impaired students,due to the lack of the most primary and direct channel of the human body to obtain information,are bound to pose a realistic challenge to the working mode of traditional physical education.Therefore,based on the actual situation of visually impaired students in colleges and universities,exploring practical problems and constraints in their physical education and formulating targeted teaching strategies of their physical education can improve their sports techniques and skills,help form lifelong sports consciousness,promote their healthy development physically and mentally,and help them to integrate into society better.The research,taking the organization and management of physical education in colleges and universities which enrolled visually impaired students as the object,and selecting four representative colleges and universities of Beijing Union University,Changchun University,Binzhou Medical College and Henan Vocational College of Tuina as specific survey objects,adopted comprehensively analysis methods of questionnaires,interviews,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,analyzed organization and management of physical education for visually impaired students in colleges and universities,and then proposed specific strategies as optimization paths.The main research contents are as follows.The first one is organization and management of physical education for visually impaired students in colleges and universities: 1.Lack of integrated education as for teaching model because of more visually impaired students learning in separate classes and less learning in regular classes.2.As for education objects,visually impaired students have poor physical health and some even have mental problems.Their participation in physical education should be improved.3.Lack of professional venues and facilities and insufficient applicability of sports equipment;Safety precautions not in place;Few targeted researches on physical education for visually impaired students;4.As for course content,few textbooks are specially designed for visually impaired students and special curriculum design is insufficient.5.As for spare-time sports,morning exercises and exercise between classes become a mere formality and lack guidance.Students are not active in PE,so it is hard to finish one-hour exercise every day.6.Evaluation is subjective and lacks qualitative and quantitative evaluation mechanism.The second one are intention factors affecting their physical exercise.Subjective regulation has a significantly positive impact on attitude,intention and perceived behavioral control.Perceived behavioral control has a significantly positive impact on attitude.Attitude has a significantly positive impact on intention.Perceived behavioral control doesn’t have an impact on intention,in which there is likely to be other indirect path and impacting mechanism needed to be researched.The third one are main problems of physical education for visually impaired students in colleges and universities.1.Laws and regulations for physical education for visually impaired students are not perfect.2.Professional level of PE teachers is low.3.Physical education for visually impaired students is of great specialty.4.Teaching research on visually impaired students is not enough.5.Lack of professional venues and facilities and insufficient applicability of sports equipment.6.Lack of communication and interaction within the industry.The fourth one are systematic optimization paths of physical education for visually impaired students in colleges and universities.1.Macro level.Government and education authorities should strengthen top-level design,improve legal systems for the disabled,and promote the supply-side structural reform on physical education of colleges and universities.2.Meso level: Government should actively guide to form social atmosphere for correctly understanding and supporting the physical education for visually impaired students,promote standardized management of the industry,strengthen communication and interaction within the industry,perfect the training system of physical education for visually impaired students,and expand professional sports venues and equipment.3.Micro level.Teaching researches should be strengthened for improving professionalism and enhancing individual’s cognition of students. |
