Agriculture is an important industry in China, which lays the foundation for the development of the Chinese economy, and at the same time provides food and necessities for mankind.Under the current impact of the new coronary pneumonia epidemic, the importance of agriculture has become more prominent, especially the importance of food productivity. In the process of grain production, agricultural professionals are the main force, which largely determines the level of grain productivity. At the same time, agricultural professionals are also the main driving force for agricultural development and the talent support for rural industry development. It can be seen that the scientific allocation of agricultural talent resources is of great significance for promoting the development of China’s agriculture, rural areas and farmers. In order to scientifically allocate agricultural talent resources,it is necessary to study the influencing factors affecting the distribution of agricultural professionals and comprehensively analyze the push and pull forces that affect the flow of talent. This article first analyzes factors that may affect the distribution of agricultural professionals from an objective perspective, such as regional agricultural economic level, wage level, cultural environment, technological environment, cultivated land area, education level, consumption level, etc. Then,by collecting agricultural talents in 31 provinces in China and various indicator data that may affect the distribution of agricultural talents, using a multiple linear regression model,an empirical analysis was carried out and found that the most influential consumption expenditures for agricultural practitioners, the correlation coefficient is-0.977,Passed the 1% significance level test.Secondly, wage income, the correlation coefficient is 0.754,which passed the 5% significance level test.In comparison, education input, cultivated land area and agricultural output value have less influence. In addition, the scientific and technological environment and the cultural environment have found no significant impact on agricultural professionals. It can be seen from the empirical analysis that the regional consumption level is the most important factor for agricultural professionals. If the regional consumption level is too high, the agricultural practitioners will be intimidated, and the excessive consumption level will inhibit the accumulation of agricultural professionals.Regional wage income is also the main driving force for attracting talents.According to the empirical results and the current situation of agricultural professionals, the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed.First, build a rural innovation and entrepreneurship platform and increase the cultivation of agricultural talents;second, implement the most stringent farmland protection system;third, strengthen the supply of agricultural talents.System;Fourth, improve the working mechanism of agricultural talents;Fifth, deepen the reform of agricultural talents development system and mechanism.
