With the continuous development of China’s education system and curriculum reform,especially the implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi’s speech at the National Conference on Education Science "to create golden curriculum",colleges and universities pay more attention to the improvement of teaching quality.As an elegant and influential sport,tennis has been admired by more college students,and the number of college students participating in tennis courses has also increased,which also leads to the shortage of venues,and the traditional teaching methods have been unable to adapt to the rapid development of teaching.Students in physical education colleges and universities have good physical quality and like practical classes and flexible teaching forms.However,traditional teaching methods are relatively simple.Many teachers usually adopt the traditional teaching mode of "teacher’s explanation and demonstration-students’ imitation and exercises-teachers’ guidance and error correction".This boring and single method will often lead to students’ habit of listening to lectures and lack of independent thinking,and it will also lead to students’ enthusiasm for learning tennis to be greatly reduced.Stay and Play Tennis is a Play and Stay program promoted worldwide by the International Tennis Federation in the early 21 st century.As a brand new teaching concept,"Easy to Learn + Happy" is the core idea of the teaching concept of "Fast and Easy Tennis".Through improvement and innovation of the courts and equipment,Can let students happy,enjoy and easy entry to the sport of tennis at the same time effectively solve the number of classes,less field problems.It is different from the traditional tennis teaching method,is targeted training,fast easy tennis in the major tennis clubs,tennis schools and so on is very popular,is to improve the quality of tennis teaching a better training mode,but in the actual college teaching rarely used.This paper adopts the methods of literature search,questionnaire survey,teaching experiment,logical analysis and mathematical statistics to introduce the teaching method of " Stay and Play tennis" into the tennis course of Guangzhou Sports Technical College.Therefore,it will bring some experience to the tennis teaching work in sports colleges and universities,and provide new ideas and references for improving the quality and efficiency of tennis teaching in sports colleges and universities in China.The experimental subjects of this paper are 24 male students from two classes of Grade 2020 in Guangzhou Sports Technical College.One class is randomly selected as an experimental class to adopt the Fast-Easy tennis teaching method,and the other class is used as a control class to adopt the traditional teaching method.In the research process,in order to ensure the consistent effect of the experiment,the physical quality and tennis sense of the students in the two classes were tested respectively before the teaching experiment,and the tennis experience of the students was investigated in the form of questionnaires.Through SPSS software analysis,the results show that there is no significant difference between the students of the two classes.Based on the experiment,the following conclusions can be drawn:1.Stay and Play tennis teaching method can significantly improve the tennis skills of sports college students,which is more superior than the traditional teaching method,mainly manifested in the depth and precision of forehand and backhand,volley depth and overhand service technical movements.2.Stay and Play tennis teaching method is obviously superior to the traditional teaching method in enhancing the physical quality of college students,which is mainly manifested in three aspects: standing long jump,grip strength and fan-shaped return run.3.Stay and Play tennis teaching method is obviously better than the traditional teaching method in the examination of tennis theory,which is mainly manifested in the basic knowledge,rules and judging law of tennis4,Stay and Play teaching method is superior to the traditional teaching method in terms of students’ emotional experience,main performance in the students’ learning enthusiasm and initiative investigation,experimental classes of students in the subjective initiative,harmonious relationship between teachers and students,students in the classroom learning atmosphere,in the form of class interest,student participation enthusiasm from several aspects such as compared with that in comparative classes have much difference.
