It is agreed that left-behind children are a new special group in the process of economic and social development in China.Left-behind children in cities are a new social product in the process of urbanization.In the families of left-behind children in cities,both or one of their parents are missing.During their stay in cities,left-behind children may have negative psychology,which will further affect their behavior habits.With the excessive attention paid to left-behind children in the countryside,we are gradually realizing the influence of left-behind children in the cities.However,the most fundamental and important problem for left-behind children in cities is family education,especially the way of family education,so we should attach great importance to family education.The tragedy of some left-behind children in cities is often attributed to the way their families grow up,which has aroused the public’s attention to this new special group,including the media and academic circles,and thus conducted research on this social group.This study adopts a variety of investigation methods,including observation,interview and other methods,starting from the study,life and family background of left-behind children in cities,that is,family education,to analyze and study these problems.It is found that the long-term separation of left-behind children from their parents has a certain negative impact on their psychological development.Although the society and the school have paid attention to this,but the measures taken are not powerful enough,little effect.The first part of this study mainly analyzes the family parenting methods,starting from the theory and types of family parenting methods,to provide theoretical support for the follow-up research.Chapter ii choose L city s elementary school as investigation object,through the survey found that leaving the city relative to many children,different family parenting approach and their hosting type,doting begets parenting approach is mostly managed type,these children in almost can meet the material requirements of life,but in lack of quality education is a part of correction.There are more types of guardianship of indulgent style,and the situation is more complicated,including supergeneration guardianship type,intergenerational guardianship type and self-supervision type.The children of the previous generation generally lack supervision because their guardians have families of their own,the guardianship of children is self-concerned,and they are busy with work,supervision is not mechanized,and ensuring their basic food safety is their own requirement.The self-monitoring of left-behind children’s family situation is complicated and difficult.The authoritarian parenting styles mainly include single parent custody and intergenerational custody.Single parent guardianship families,because one parent goes out,the parents who stay are under great pressure to take care of the children and the family,and even more to take care of their own jobs,so they want an effective and convenient way to educate their children,so it is easy to produce authoritarian parenting methods.In conclusion,democratic parenting style has a greater positive effect and is more conducive to promoting the healthy growth of children.According to these,to find out the negative impact of factors on family education,such as children’s parents and the type of temperament of children,and put forward that we can solve this problem in reverse.
