With the procession of China's accelerating urbanization, it's produced many job opportunities in city. A large number of population together with their families pouring into the cities. They always living in the urban fringe areas, because of the cheap houses. But the limitation of the Chinese census register, making the children of floating population families difficult from urban integration or study in urban school.In this paper, the city life of the floating children and their integration or adaptability in the urban-rural residential area of Beijing—Xiao Jia He, will be described through the three perspectives, such as family, school and communityIn September 2009, I got the scholarship from China Minzu University----"Chinese Ministry of Education 211 Project 3 Construction capital fund", went to California State University, East Bay, U.S as visiting students for six months. In this article, the author also describe the situation of U.S floating children. And then compare the floating children in China with the floating children in the United States.There are six chapters in my paper.The first chapter is the introduction section, including the origin of this research, literature review, the core concept of this research, the research methods. Chapter two consists of the floating children family education investigation of the Xiao Jia He community in Beijing.Chapter three describes the floating children non-governmental organization in Xiao Jia He.Chapter four is the analysis and description of floating children's school integration issue.The five chapter describes the situation of U.S floating children and comparion with China's floating children.Chapter six and seven is the conclusion of the paper.
