Youth national identity education research is the basic field of ideological and political education,and also an important content and core goal of ideological and political education.Under the impact of multicultural thoughts,every multi-ethnic country is experiencing an identity crisis.In recent years,there have been many social movements aimed at violently confronting central governance in Hong Kong society.Especially in the “antiamendment legislation”in 2019,Hong Kong youths showed a weak sense of national identity,which aroused people from all walks of life.The general concern has also exposed many problems in the Hong Kong education system.The“Hong Kong Independence” separatist trend is the main factor affecting the patriotism and national identity of Hong Kong youth.From the“de-sinicization”colonial education during the colonial rule to the “depoliticized”colonial education during the transitional period,the United Kingdom has been committed to weakening the national identity and national identity of Hong Kong youth.With the return of Hong Kong,national education has gradually established.National identity education was reestablished.However,due to the special experience of a century and a half of colonial rule,the negative impact of social environmental changes and transformations,the slow advancement of national education,and the infiltration and obstruction of local extremist forces and overseas anti-China forces,the country recognizes education as the primary content of national education.In Hong Kong,it has been unable to get the attention it deserves.Instead,“Hong Kong independence”separatism has spread widely in the Hong Kong education system.To solve this problem,the government and society must form a joint force.It is necessary to strengthen government leadership,fully implement and implement the “One Country,Two Systems”,Hong Kong Basic Law and National Security Law,and earnestly safeguard the overall governance of the central government and guarantee a high degree of autonomy in Hong Kong;it is necessary to strengthen the interaction of all sectors of society to build stability The country recognizes the social foundation of education;it is necessary to deepen the reform of the Hong Kong national education system and give play to the positive guiding role of the Hong Kong education system;it is necessary to comprehensively popularize education in Hong Kong’s Basic Law and National Security Law,and enrich and improve the content of Hong Kong youth patriotism education.Education is a major plan of the country and a major plan of the party.Standing at the historical node of my country’s comprehensive start of building a modern and powerful country,strengthening Hong Kong ’ s youth education research on national identity is not only the theoretical need to enrich and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era,but also to improve and enhance the modernization and promotion of the national governance system and governance capabilities.“One country,two systems”and the great cause of the motherland’s reunification are the requirements of the times.
