Since 2007,Shenzhen has vigorously promoted the development of social work and the construction of social work personnel,invested a lot of funds,and developed social workers posts and projects,making Shenzhen social work a benchmark for the development of social workers in the mainland.Based on the investigation of social workers in N district of Shenzhen,this paper finds out the influencing factors of social workers’ job satisfaction,and concludes that the social workers’ job satisfaction is generally low,and the biggest reasons for the low job satisfaction are:poor salary and welfare,defects in institutional management,lack of training for professional ability improvement,narrow promotion channels and restriction of industry development;In Maslow’s demand theory,social workers have the highest degree of satisfaction with high-level self-actualization,the lowest degree of satisfaction with low-level physiological and security needs,and the ordinary degree of satisfaction with higher-level respect needs.It reflects that satisfaction is not absolute "all or nothing ",that is,100% must meet the previous demand before the next demand,confirming that human spiritual satisfaction can replace some low-level needs.It also puts forward some suggestions to improve the salary and treatment of social workers,expand the scale of government rental housing facing social workers,strengthen the humanistic management of social work institutions,strengthen the supervision of social work institutions,enhance the practical ability of supervision and maintain its continuity.
