| Junior middle school students are in the early stage of adolescence,which is a special period of individual transition from children to adults,but also a key period of personality development and habit formation.During this period,a series of changes will take place in the psychological characteristics of adolescents.They lack the ability of emotional stability,tend to be self-centered and weak-willed,and are easy to give up when encountering difficulties,over time,it can turn into mental health problems.Social Phobia is one of the common psychological problems of junior middle school students.However,some students and their parents are influenced by such ideas as "only score" and "only go to school" and devote their time and energy to improving their test scores,ignoring the students’ interpersonal problems,in the long run,it may affect the long-term happiness of every student,every family and even the development and future of the country.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to and alleviate the social fear of junior middle school students.This study takes Qiqi,a junior high school student who is troubled by social phobia,as an example,using empty chair technique,Family Constellations,system desensitization and other methods,the junior high school students are given psychological counseling to rebuild negative cognition,build self-confidence,and help the subject to reduce social phobia.Finally,through "facing up to problems","I love my family" and "behavior shaping" three stages of psychological counseling,Qiqi,who is a junior high school student,was able to achieve this step by step: express his thoughts and desires,face up to himself,improve parental and peer relationships,and significantly ease his social phobia.At the same time,this study also puts forward corresponding suggestions on the social phobia of junior middle school students: first,parents should pay attention to their children’s physical and mental health development in time,and give guidance to their children’s unhealthy tendencies in time;Schools should strengthen the screening of students’ mental health problems and offer courses related to social skills.Third,society should build and improve the social protection mechanism for teenagers. |
