Social Work Intervenes In Community Distressed Family Assistance

Family is the most basic living environment for a person,and also an important place for people to produce and live.Our country is now in a new historical stage of building a well-off society in an all-round way,and it is also a critical moment to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation.The assistance of distressed families plays an important role in poverty alleviation,and the study of distressed families is also the focus and difficulty of social work research.H community is a typical old community,as a place for distressed families to live,the community can bring a sense of psychological belonging to distressed families that any other social institutions can not match,the corresponding community activities can make the external living environment of distressed families be repaired to a certain extent,and improve the existing living conditions of distressed family members.The author in the H community three months of practice,more fully collected first-hand information,using observation and interviews,starting from the plight of family groups,to study the problems they face and the root causes of the plight;at the same time,the use of access to relevant literature,reading relevant research results at home and abroad,for this article on the plight of family relief services to provide a theoretical preparation.In the field survey,the author learned that poor families have financial difficulties,physical diseases need to be taken care of,psychological desire for care and warmth,but also have a strong need to participate in social life to achieve self-worth.It is found that there are some problems in the process of helping distressed families in H community,such as low participation of residents,low degree of professional assistance and dislocation of service concept and objectives.In this paper,after in-depth analysis of the above problems,from the professional perspective of social work,to explore the feasibility and necessity of social work intervention in the plight of family relief services,and how to intervene in the plight of family relief services.From the macro and micro perspectives,this paper gives practical ways and methods for social work to intervene in the assistance of families in distress,that is,to give full play to the professional advantages of social workers,to take the professional service concept of social work as the leading factor,to use systematic and systematic professional methods,and to cooperate with other multi-subject forces to work together.Establish a social support network system for family members in distress,improve the effect of community assistance for families in distress,and help distressed families get out of the predicament as soon as possible.
