| How to improve the academic performance of college students has always been a concern of many parents and teachers,and is also one of the focus issues of domestic and foreign education research.The academic achievement of modern college students mainly refers to the comprehensive personal development gained during the whole university period,which includes both the accumulation of knowledge and the all-round improvement of ability.In the process of learning in college,students’attitude towards achievement goal orientation and thinking mode of self-efficacy also have an imperceptible influence on their thoughts and actions.So,what is the current academic achievement of college students?What are the factors that influence academic achievement?What is the mechanism of influence?How to improve the academic achievement of college students?Can achievement goal orientation influence academic achievement by influencing self-efficacy?It has theoretical and practical significance to solve the above problems.In order to discuss the influence of achievement goal orientation and self-efficacy on college students’learning achievement,this paper explores the ways to improve college students’learning achievement.Using"achievement goal orientation scale","self-efficacy scale"and"academic achievement scale",a total of 1024 college students from six colleges and universities of different levels in Nanjing were selected as the research objects to conduct a questionnaire survey,and statistical methods were used for data analysis.The results show that:(1)The scores of college students in achievement goals are higher than the theoretical median,in which the score of performance-approach orientation is the highest,and the score of master-avoidance orientation is the lowest;Both self-efficacy and academic achievement scored higher than the theoretical median.(2)There are no significant gender differences in achievement goal orientation,self-efficacy and academic achievement of college students,but there are significant differences among the three in whether they are the only child,place of origin,family atmosphere and grade.(3)Through correlation analysis,it is found that there is a significant positive correlation between achievement goal orientation,self-efficacy and academic achievement.(4)Through stepwise multiple regression,it is found that mastery--approach,mastery--avoidance,achievement--approach,achievement--avoidance,and self-efficacy can significantly predict academic achievement,and the prediction model is:Y=0.16 X1+0.81 X2+0.94 X3+1.13X4+0.92M+18.10.X1represents mastery--approach,X2represents mastery--avoidance,X3represents achievement--approach,X4represents achievement--avoidance,M represents self-efficacy,and Y represents academic achievement.(5)Achievement goal orientation played a mediating role in the relationship between self-efficacy and academic achievement.Conclusion:(1)College students have a good level of achievement goal orientation,and they show more positive personality traits in motivation cognition.(2)College students have a good sense of self-efficacy,and their feelings about themselves are positive.(3)College students have a good level of academic achievement and a high sense of self-learning value.(4)Achievement goal orientation and self-efficacy can positively predict academic achievement.(5)In order to improve the level of academic achievement,college students need to give play to the different roles of students,schools and families.They should take improving students’sense of self-efficacy as the premise,form a reasonable achievement goal orientation as the key,and promote the balanced development of academic achievement in various aspects as the important content. |
