Based on the background of the development of the national economy and the expansion of rural intensive production methods,more and more farmers are able to allocate time and energy to carry out other economic activities.At the same time,the expansion of cities and the slowdown of urban population growth have made urban The need for migrant labor and grassroots population growth has increased.The surplus of rural labor and the expansion of urban demand have given birth to a special social group,namely migrant workers.Migrant workers have contributed to urban construction,but a large number of peasant jobs are the floating population in cities and also cause greater pressure on urban management.Therefore,social studies with migrant workers as the research object abound."Accelerating the urbanization of agricultural transfer population" is the social demand for the development of migrant workers.In this regard,the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued a vocational training plan for migrant workers in 2020.Vocational education has become a key issue for the development of migrant workers.Scholars in the field of agricultural and rural development have carried out various studies on this basis,and the improvement of migrant workers’ employability and vocational education have become research hotspots.Agriculture is the pillar industry in Yanbian Prefecture.The changes in the labor market have also enabled many rural people to enter the city to obtain the status of "migrant workers".The development of these populations in Yanbian Prefecture affects the coordination of urban and rural development in ethnic minority areas.In the context of the nationwide development of vocational education and training for migrant workers,migrant workers in Yanbian Prefecture are selected as the research objects to study their employability and vocational education.The purpose is to understand the employment ability and vocational education status of migrant workers in Yanbian Prefecture,and find out among them Starting from the cause of the problem,it provides effective suggestions for promoting the rural economic development of Yanbian Prefecture and the process of rural urbanization in Yanbian Prefecture.The research is divided into five parts.In the first two parts,the literature review method is used to briefly explain the topic background and research significance,and to pave the way for the basic ideas and theoretical foundation of this research;the third part uses the questionnaire survey method and The interview method conducts in-depth research on the current situation of migrant workers’ employability and vocational education in Yanbian Prefecture;the fourth part adopts the AHP method to construct an evaluation index system for the effect of vocational education to improve migrant workers’ employability,and analyzes Yanbian’s vocational education is improving migrant workers’ employability.Problems in the process;The fifth part proposes countermeasures and suggestions to improve the employability of migrant workers in Yanbian from the perspective of vocational education.The research has the following conclusions: First,the vocational education of migrant workers in Yanbian Prefecture is not good and their employability is low;second,there is a problem of insufficient vocational education for migrant workers in Yanbian Prefecture,and vocational education does not directly improve the employment ability of migrant workers.The performance of employment guidance is weak,the scope of vocational education is narrow,and migrant workers are not actively participating in vocational education.The reasons for these problems are not only the responsibility of the government,but also the responsibility of the vocational education itself,as well as the migrant workers themselves.The study puts forward five suggestions for vocational education for migrant workers in Yanbian Prefecture: enrich vocational education investment,establish a comprehensive education effect evaluation system,expand vocational education content,innovate employment guidance education,and conduct vocational education publicity.
