| As a national compulsory course,comprehensive practical activity course has been implemented for more than 20 years and has achieved fruitful results in theoretical and practical research.However,there arc still some problems at present,such as insufficient understanding of its importance and not integrating it into the overall planning and implementation of the school curriculum.Especially in the design and implementation of comprehensive practical activity course in primary schools,there are some problems of insufficient theoretical discussion and unreasonable practical operation.Because comprehensive practical activity course is a course regulated by the state,guided by the local government and developed by the school,there is no curriculum standard and uniform textbook,so teachers need to design and implement it independently.However,due to the lack of deep understanding in this course,being incapable of activity designing,plans of comprehensive practical activities designed by some teachers do not conform to the cognitive development level of students in the corresponding learning period,and the content lacks cohesion and progression,and same theme activities are repeated at a low level in different learning section.In order to solve outstanding problems above,this study introduces Bruner’s concept of spiral curriculum design into the curriculum design and implementation of comprehensive practical activity course in primary schools,through theoretical discussion,experiments of designing and implementation,this paper explores the theoretical and practical problems that need to be solved in curriculum design and implementation.The research idea and main content are developed from the following aspects:First,discuss the concepts of comprehensive practical activity course and spiral design,as well as the theoretical basis and design framework of spiral design of comprehensive practical activity course,so as to provide theoretical support and operational direction guidance for subsequent design and implementation.Second,activity scheme design and case analysis.From the theoretical discussion into the practical operation,choose ’Fire Safety education’ as the theme,and carry out spiral design of the scheme in comprehensive practical activity course for three grades in primary school.Then from the practical operation regression to theoretical verification,that is,through the analysis of design cases,clearing how the curriculum scheme design embodies the spiral design concept.Third,based on the spiral design of activity scheme,comprehensive practical activities were carried out in three grades and the implementation effect was evaluated.Fourth,reflect on problems in activity design and implementation and put forward suggestions for improvement.Through the research,the main conclusions are as follows:First,for the activity theme of fire safety education,it is feasible to use the spiral design concept to carry out activity design for different grades in primary schools,which further proves that this concept can be applied to the design of comprehensive practical activity course in primary schools.Second,the activity scheme based on spiral design has achieved certain results in the implementation process.From the evaluation of student’s activity performance,the ratio of excellent is high and the development of activities is also highly praised by teachers and students.However,this study still has the following deficiencies:The spiral design of activity content and manner have a mismatch with actual needs of students.The comprehensiveness and scientificity of activity evaluation spiral design need to be strengthened.Research on activity implementation is mostly limited to static presentation of activity process.These problems also provide ideas for the future breakthrough direction of this research:First,make clear the method of spiral design in the field of emotion evaluation and enrich the means of scientific assessment on the effect of activity implementation.Second,adhere to the concept dominated by creation orientation in the implementation of comprehensive practical activity course and carry out the action research in the rich context of learning community. |
