| Nowadays,our country’s development of economy and society has entered a new stage.The model of economic development and industrial structure have changed.The demand for technical and skilled talents in various industries has become increasingly urgent,and the importance of vocational education has become progressively significant.At present,the development of secondary vocational education in China has shifted from scale expansion to connotation construction.The purpose is to improve the quality of teaching and cultivate high-quality skilled talents.The realization of talents training goals depends on curriculum construction,which is a systematic project that involves curriculum development,teaching reform,textbook construction,teaching assessment and evaluation.And curriculum development is the core,the quality of curriculum development directly affects the realization of talents training goals and is related to the overall situation of secondary vocational education reform and innovation.This thesis uses documentation research method,questionnaires investigation method,interview method and teaching experiments method to develop the "Front Office Service and Management" course through competency-based education and conduct education and teaching experiments.The results showed that:(1)The "Front Office Service and Management" course,which was developed by competency-based education,is the core course for tourism professionals in secondary vocational schools.It is opened in the second year of secondary vocational schools.The development of the curriculum can expand the horizons of secondary vocational tourism courses,enrich theories of the competency-based curriculum development,exploring new ideas for secondary vocational curriculum development.(2)The research divides the course content according to the ability module,which is flexible and practical.During the course implementation,teachers can make appropriate adjustments according to actual demands.The assessment method adopts a diversified subject evaluation method,which is more scientific and reasonable.The course content can also be adjusted and mined according to the characteristics of different regions.And this course model can be promoted.(3)Through the test of teaching experiment,the "Front Office Service and Management" course developed by the competency-based education has significantly improved the front office service capabilities of secondary vocational students,such as communication skills,teamwork skills,and emergency handling capabilities,but the effect of improving the student’s theoretical knowledge level is not obvious. |
