| With the development of information technology and the advent of the information era,"Internet + education" also came into being,and "online + offline" blended teaching is a new teaching model and method explored in the context of such times,which is widely favored by schools of all levels and types.Teachers and students at all levels.At the same time,the hotel industry,under the background of informationization,also actively uses information management as a basic management tool and puts forward new requirements for the cultivation of high-quality skilled talents.Therefore,in order to make the hotel talents cultivated by schools better meet the needs of the hotel industry,it is an inevitable trend for secondary tourism education to take the initiative to carry out teaching reform.This study takes the application of blended teaching in the middle-level "Front Office Service and Management" course as the landing point,aiming to improve the classroom teaching effect and talent cultivation quality.Firstly,through the literature research method,we sort out the development status of blended teaching and "Front Office Service and Management" teaching practice research at home and abroad,and grasp the difficulties,pain points and development trend of current research.Secondly,through the questionnaire survey method,a survey about the current situation of blended teaching was conducted with a random sample of students in several secondary tourism service majors,which summarized the main problems that exist at present: poor independent learning ability of students,single form of teacher-student interaction,and insufficient teaching evaluation mechanism.In addition,this study selects "Front Office Service and Management" in middle school as a teaching example and UMU platform as an online teaching platform to build a hybrid teaching design of "Front Office Service and Management" course based on UMU platform,which integrates UMU platform into the three teaching processes before,during and after class to effectively realize the deep integration of online and offline.Finally,through the experimental research method,the experiment of blended teaching is carried out in X secondary vocational and technical school,aiming to prove the effectiveness of blended teaching,improve the current problems of traditional teaching,and enhance the teaching quality.At the end of the teaching experiment,the effectiveness of the application of blended teaching based on UMU platform was examined through the analysis of students’ performance,teachers’ interview and students’ satisfaction survey.However,while the teaching effect is good,the implementation process of blended teaching also shows certain shortcomings.Therefore,it is expected that with the continuous promotion of education informatization,relying on new technology and new means to accelerate the integration of online and offline innovation,deepen the education informatization reform of secondary tourism service courses,improve the teaching effect and promote the achievement of talent training goals. |
