Research On The Intervention Of Group Work In The Community Integration Of Migrant Workers’ Children

The economic reform has brought about earth-shaking changes in our country.In the new era,more children of migrant workers have come to live with their parents in cities and become children of migrants.The changes in the new environment make them also face many problems of urban integration.The community records the epitome of their daily lives,and is also a carrier for the migrant children to integrate into the community.The integration of migrant children into the community not only affects their own healthy growth,but also affects the harmony of their families,communities and society.Group work is one of the professional social work methods that can effectively help the children living with them,improve their adaptability to the community and the ability to integrate into the community,which is of great significance to helping the migrant children integrate into community life.The thesis is based on the theory of self-in-mirror and the theory of superior perspective,taking X community in Foshan City as an example,analyzing the status quo of migrant children’s community integration,and using the professional methods of group work to improve their ability to integrate into the community.The author used the literature method,field survey method,and interview method to analyze the basic situation of migrant children’s community integration,and found that there are problems such as rigid family communication methods,outstanding learning problems,and difficulties in peer interaction among migrant children in the process of community integration.And discuss the reasons for the predicament from the perspective of individuals,families,and communities.Then design group activities that meet their needs,and organize growth groups for children who move with them.Through the intervention of group work methods,detailed records of group activities,timely observation and reflection on changes before and after the group,and improvement of group content,the ability of children with migrants to integrate into the community is greatly improved.After the group activity is over,the author adopts social worker selfevaluation,group member feedback,and effect evaluation.Research has found that group activities help children with migrants to understand the community environment,improve their interpersonal skills,promote parent-child emotional exchanges,enhance self-confidence,and enhance their recognition and satisfaction with the community,so that children with migrants can integrate into community life more smoothly in.Finally,the author summarizes and reflects on the group work methods involved in the community integration process of children with migrants,and puts forward reasonable suggestions for the community integration of children with migrants,so as to better serve the children with migrant groups in the future.
