With the acceleration of the pace of mobility between urban and rural areas and social change,the frequency of rural population mobility has reached a peak,a large number of rural labor force has been transferred to the city,and a group of special groups left behind children have emerged in rural areas.The parent-child relationship of left behind children plays a vital role in the growth process of left behind children.Good parent-child relationship can take care of the healthy growth of left behind children,while bad parent-child relationship will make left behind children have certain deviation of self cognition and behavior,which has a negative impact on their growth.Whether the problem of parent-child relationship can be properly solved is directly related to the overall development of rural left behind children themselves,and also related to the development of schools and society.According to the author’s investigation,the parent-child relationship of left behind children in rural areas is lack of communication between parents and children,the content of communication is single,the time of face-to-face contact between parents and children is insufficient,and the guardian plays a positive leading role in the parent-child relationship of left behind children in rural areas,which also causes the problems of estrangement,alienation and conflict in the parent-child relationship of left behind children in rural areas.This study is based on the author’s one-year practical experience.In 2018,the author participated in the public welfare venture capital project of social organizations in X city.The main objects of income are left behind children in rural areas of X city.Xiao W,who has problems in the family parent-child relationship,is selected as the service object.By means of case intervention,through the cooperation with Xiao w himself,his father,and his Grandparents dialogue to analyze the problems and influencing factors in the parent-child relationship Based on the family communication theory and empowerment theory,this study uses the methods of literature research and case interview to understand the current situation of family life of rural left behind children and the reasons for the alienation of parent-child relationship.Using professional social work case service,through the development of intervention service plan to help service objects find problems,help families adjust the wrong way of communication before,increase the effective communication between parents and children,and promote the harmonious development of family parent-child relationship.Through the targeted case service,the paper successfully improves the parent-child relationship of the case owner’s family,which can also show that social work can play a positive role in improving the parent-child relationship of rural left behind children,and has certain advantages.This study not only provides practical experience for social work to intervene in the parent-child relationship of rural left behind children,but also provides an effective method to solve this problem,which has certain research value.
