Recently,more and more attention has been paid to the care and protection of children in distress from all sectors of society.While strengthening the social atmosphere for their healthy growth,the author has found that in the rapid development of urbanization,some families have not adapted to the sudden social and family changes.For example,many parent-child communication problems have arisen in the families of children in distress in cities.It was not taken seriously.However,this problem will seriously affect the healthy growth and future development of urban children with difficulties.At the same time,due to the "complexity of difficulties" of families of children with difficulties,relevant studies on the targeted improvement of their parent-child communication ability are not very sufficient.In this paper,from the perspective of empowerment theory,focusing on the promotion of parent-child communication ability among families of children in urban distress,through the investigation of the actual situation of parent-child communication among families of children in urban distress within the jurisdiction of X Town,the communication status quo,communication difficulties and related causes behind the communication between children in families of children in urban distress in X Town and their families(that is,the main caregivers)are organized and analyzed.Through case interviews,the parent-child communication ability of families with urban children in distress in X Town is generally poor.The author makes a detailed analysis from three aspects: the children and their guardians themselves,their families,and the environment(school).In the actual intervention services,three families with urban children in distress are provided with case intervention services to improve their parent-child communication ability.Through continuous case services,according to the actual difficulties and needs of the clients,to stimulate the clients to use their own advantages and appropriate communication skills,and at the same time,to help the clients and their important communication objects in the living environment to enhance the content and form of communication,guiding the clients and their family members to jointly adjust the previous unreasonable cognition.Build a balanced and good family communication pattern.Finally,the children in distress and their parents were paid a return visit to evaluate the effectiveness of parent-child communication case service.The results of the study showed that the improvement of the parent-child communication in the current environment of the subjects also enhanced the communication ability,communication status and social skills between the subjects and their families.In this paper,the case work of the three methods of social work is adopted,the children in difficulty and their family members are taken as the main object of intervention,the service content of parent-child communication is focused on,and the intervention plan is designed from the perspective of empowerment theory.By improving the relevant factors affecting the parent-child communication of the children in difficulty in the family environment of the client,Guide children in difficulties and their family members to learn appropriate communication skills,rebuild a reasonable family communication mode,and make multiple improvements in the three levels of individual,family and environment,so as to jointly help families of children in difficulties to restore their proper home temperature.
