| Mindfulness is an inner awareness that enables individuals to focus more objectively and calmly on the present moment without judgment.As an effective means of psychological training,mindfulness has been proven to improve mood,relieve stress and improve attention.In high strength,high load,long time of training environment,teenagers middle-distance race athletes on the psychological pressure is gradually increased,burnout symptoms such as loss of achievement in sports,increasing loss of interest in sports,and even the idea of quitting sports often occur,that affects athletes’ daily training and the improvement of sports performance.Therefore,this study will use mindfulness training method to intervene the burnout and sports performance of young middle-distance runners.Objective: Understand the current situation of burnout of adolescent middle-distance runners.To investigate the intervention effect of mindfulness training on adolescent middle-distance runners with burnout.Methods: This study adopts the methods of literature,interview,psychometric,experimental and mathematical statistics.20 athletes with burnout symptoms were selected as the research object,using the "Athlete Burnout Questionnaire",and according to the weighted score of burnout they were divided into experimental group and control group,with 10 people in each group.The experimental group received a seven-week mindfulness training intervention,while the control group did not participate in any intervention.Before and after mindfulness training,the level of mindfulness,burnout,acceptance level and sports performance of the two groups of athletes were measured.SPSS20.0 was used for statistical analysis of the obtained data to evaluate the intervention effect of mindfulness training.Results: 1.Before mindfulness training,there were no significant differences in burnout,mindfulness level,acceptance level and sports performance between the two groups(p>0.05).2.After mindfulness training,the experimental group athletes are better than the control group in burnout,mindfulness level,acceptance level and sports performance,and there were significant differences in scores before and after the group(p>0.05).3.Mindfulness training,male and female athletes in mindfulness,acceptance,and sports performance are no significant differences(p>0.05),psychological and physical exhaustion,decreasing sense of accomplishment of burnout two dimensions were no significant difference(p>0.05),the sport devaluation and burnout scores presented significant differences(p<0.05).4.After mindfulness training,athletes’ training condition and coaches’ subjective perception of mindfulness were improved.Conclusions: 1.The degree of burnout of adolescent middle-distance runners is severe.In the three dimensions of burnout,psychological and physical exhaustion is the most prominent,followed by the decrease of sense of achievement,and the last is the negative evaluation of sports.2.Mindfulness training alleviated the burnout degree of middle and long distance runners,improved their sports performance.3.Mindfulness training improved the level of mindfulness and acceptance of middle and long distance runners,helped athletes clarify their values in the field of sports.4.The intervention results of mindfulness training on middle and long distance runners have gender differences in negative evaluation of sports and the total score of burnout.It has the same influence on the level of mindfulness,acceptance level and sports performance. |
