| More and more people realized the importance of high school education,and schoolteachers’ seriously educational and living situation had becoming the focus of attention.Teachers’ burnout was a kind of invisible damage,would not only affect the working conditions of teachers,but also had great influence on mental health status.However,there was no effective way to reduce the level of burnout of teachers,but also did not know how to adjust the level of teacher’ burnout in different personality conditions.Mindfulness was a conception originated from Buddhist meditation and training methods,including three main components of perception,awareness,attention and memory.And mindfulness was a state of consciousness that no doubt devoting him and all emotions,thoughts and somatosensory are accepted by him.This study proposed the use of mindfulness training to reduce the level of burnout of high school teachers,in particular,considering the impact of personality traits on mindfulness training to reduce job burnout.Mainly includes two aspects:(1)The relationship among mindfulness,personality and occupation burnout;(2)To participate in the mindfulness training through the selection of Personality Questionnaire scores in Neuroticism and Conscientiousness of teachers,to reduce the level of occupation burnout,verify whether personality effects of mindfulness.This study adopted the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and intervention experiment.The questionnaire included the Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire,the Chinese version of the Big Five Personality scale and the Chinese version of Burnout Inventory.194 high school teachers from Inner Mongolia participated in the questionnaire survey,involving first grade high school teacher of 76 people,second grade high school teachers of 73,and third grade high school teachers of 45.Among them,there were 5 high school teachers with high scores participated in the intervention.The results showed that there was a significant correlation between mindfulness level and job burnout in general(r=0.467);personality was significantly correlated with mindfulness and burnout(personality and mindfulness r=0.496,personality and burnout r=0.392).The teachers with higher scores of burnout were trained for four weeks.The results showed that the level of job burnout was significantly lower(t=4.385).The conclusions of this study were:(1)Personality,mindfulness,job burnout have significant correlation;(2)Mindfulness training can effectively reduce the level of burnout of high school teachers.According to this conclusion,it is suggested that schools and teachers should adjust the level of job burnout. |
