| Athletics is an important exercise for children and adolescents to develop physical qualities such as strength,endurance,agility and speed.However,the traditional track and field program is demanding,difficult and boring,which makes most students resist and even feel bored.Based on this situation,the IAAF has designed a set of fun track and field programs for children and youth aged 7-12 to stimulate students’ interest in learning track and field.The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of children’s fun track and field on the endurance quality of children aged 10-12.Through a comparative experimental study,we explore the detailed developmental status of children’s fun track and field on the development of endurance quality in children and adolescents aged 10-12 years old;to increase the interest of children and adolescents in track and field programs.This paper adopts the research methods of literature method,experimental method,expert interview method and data analysis method to study the effect of fun track and field program on the endurance quality of elementary school students.Sixth grade class 1 and sixth grade class 2 students of Xiquan Primary School in Xianning City,Hubei Province were selected as the experimental class and control class for 8 weeks of experimental teaching.30 students in each class,sixth grade class1 was the experimental class;sixth grade class 2 was the control class.The endurance indexes such as students’ physical form,lung capacity(ml),800 m,1000m performance,50m*8folding run performance and Haver step experimental test performance were tested before the experiment,and the students’ performance was compared after the experiment,and the conclusions obtained from the experiment are as follows.(1)The experimental study of implementing children’s fun track and field teaching for children and adolescents in the age group of 10-12 years old in Xiquan elementary school in Xianning City through the development of endurance quality.After eight weeks of teaching the children’s fun track and field program,the endurance quality indicators such as lung capacity,50m*8 fold run,1000 m,800m,etc.were all improved to a different extent compared with the pre-experimental period,and the post-experimental period was improved compared with the control class,and the performance indicators of the experimental class were higher than those of the control class.(2)After adopting the teaching mode of children’s fun track and field,the students’ lung capacity,50m*8 folding run,1000 m,800m and other test endurance quality indexes all improved to different degrees compared with those before the experiment,which indicates that the teaching of children’s fun track and field program can effectively improve the cardiovascular system,motor system and endurance quality of children and adolescents aged10-12.(3)The children’s fun track and field program was adapted from the traditional track and field program,which aimed to reduce the difficulty of the traditional track and field program and improve the fun of the program.In the experimental process,students were attracted by the interesting children’s fun track and field program,and they could actively participate in the sport and bet their attention on it.The fun and interesting track and field programs improve physical fitness and lay the foundation for lifelong sports. |
