With the rapid development of education in China,vocational education has been promoted and valued to a certain extent,and the corresponding vocational school students have also presented a trend of increasing year by year.However,compared with the rapid development and expansion of secondary vocational education,there is a relative lack of research on the psychological and behavioral problems of secondary vocational school students.Secondary vocational students are faced with complex external environment and heavy pressure:such as secondary vocational students’ learning life from education to career change,development direction from entering a higher school to employment-oriented change.With the popularization of computer and Internet in the 21 st century,the use of social networking sites has exerted a certain influence on the study and life of secondary vocational students who are in the physical and mental development.In this study,a total of 550 students from a secondary vocational school were selected,and the social network use scale,the sense of security scale and the self-esteem scale were used as research tools.SPSS19.0 software was used to analyze the data to understand the status quo of psychological security of secondary vocational students,and the relationship between social network use,self-esteem and psychological security was investigated.And the mediating role of self-esteem in the relationship between social network use and psychological security.The specific content of the research results is as follows:First,the overall psychological security of secondary vocational students in the middle level,the two factors of psychological security of secondary vocational students in the(nononly-child)there is no significant difference,non-only-child in determining the sense of control and interpersonal security score is relatively higher.In the aspect of determining the sense of control,there are significant differences in gender,female students’ sense of determining control is higher than that of male students.There is no significant difference in the origin of students.In terms of interpersonal security,there is no significant difference in gender,but there is a significant difference in student origin.The interpersonal security of urban students is significantly higher than that of rural students.Second,there is no significant difference in the use of social networking sites among secondary vocational students in terms of gender and(non-only)children.However,there are significant differences in the use of social networking sites among secondary vocational students.Urban students have a higher use of social networking sites than rural students.Thirdly,there is no significant difference in the level of self-esteem of secondary vocational students in the origin area and in the(non)only child.However,there are significant gender differences in the self-esteem level of secondary vocational students,and the self-esteem level of boys is higher than that of girls.Fourth,social networking sites use direct positive predictors of psychological security.After the introduction of self-esteem variables,social networking sites used positive prediction of self-esteem;Self-esteem is also a positive predictor of psychological security.Social networking site use has a direct and positive predictive effect on psychological security,and also has an indirect predictive effect on psychological security partly through self-esteem.Therefore,self-esteem plays a partial mediating role in the relationship between social networking site use and psychological security.In conclusion,the use of social networking sites,self-esteem and psychological security of secondary vocational students have significant differences in gender,student origin and(not)the only child.There was a significant correlation between social networking site use,selfesteem and psychological security.Self-esteem played a partial mediating role between social networking site use and psychological security.
