| Higher vocational colleges are a complex system composed of teachers,students,graduates,parents,investors（agents）and other stakeholders.Meeting the needs of stakeholders and creating value for stakeholders is an important way for private higher vocational colleges to achieve sustainable development.Due to the changes of institutional culture and times,the diverse needs of stakeholders and the complexity of the relationship between stakeholders,the development of private higher vocational colleges is facing more uncertainty and the sustainable development of private higher vocational colleges is facing challenges.This paper selects private Sichuan ty college,a typical private university,as an example to explore its sustainable development from the perspective of stakeholders,and tries to find out its sustainable development countermeasures on the basis of taking into account the interests of all stakeholders,so as to provide a reference for other private colleges and universities.Focusing on the practical problems of the sustainable development of private higher vocational colleges,this paper first expounds the stakeholder theory and sustainable development theory,and reviews the research on the sustainable development of private higher vocational colleges.Combined with the general situation of private Sichuan ty college,this paper identifies the key stakeholders of the school,which are teachers,students,parents,graduates,government education authorities and college investors（agents）.This paper designs different questionnaires for different stakeholders and issues 512 questionnaires to different stakeholders to understand the current actual views,needs and future development suggestions of the key stakeholders of private Sichuan ty college.The survey and analysis results show that there are obvious differences among different stakeholders.Specifically,teachers pay attention to the working environment,growth and development opportunities and colleague relations.It is suggested to improve the current working environment and growth and development opportunities;As far as students are concerned,their needs are mainly reflected in three aspects: school hardware environment,learning atmosphere and tuition fees.Ty college has room for improvement in meeting the needs of students in these three aspects in the future development;The needs of students’ parents are mainly reflected in the quality of talents cultivated by the school;As far as the group of graduates is concerned,their interest needs are mainly in two aspects: employment security and career development prospects.At present,the support provided by the school is not sufficient;The actual needs of government education authorities are mainly focused on promoting local development;Finally,investors mainly focus on school reputation and government policy support.According to the analysis of the needs of different key stakeholders and the countermeasures and suggestions for sustainable development,and combined with the theory of sustainable development,this paper puts forward the Sustainable Development Countermeasures of promoting school running by evaluation,attracting investment,good governance and promoting open and excellent school running,so as to coordinate the needs of various stakeholders and promote the sustainable development of ty college. |
