As the main person in charge of the kindergarten,the professional quality of the principal affects the development of the kindergarten,kindergarten teachers and young children.In order to improve the overall quality of care and education in the kindergarten,it is very important to improve the professional quality of the principal,especially for those who have just stepped into the position of the principal.For the first-time principals,improving their professional quality can lay a good foundation for them to smoothly carry out kindergarten management and improve the quality of early childhood education.However,because the first-time principal lacks kindergarten management experience and his professional quality is not high,various problems will inevitably arise when he first steps on the post of the principal.This article takes some first-time principals in the author’s county F as the research object.Through the methods of questionnaire survey and interview,combined with the analysis of relevant literature,it is found that the problems they face mainly focus on role change,interpersonal coordination,resource management,development planning,The six aspects of safety responsibility and home education,combined with the "Professional Standards for Principals",investigated and analyzed the professional quality of the first-time principals in County F.The results showed that the professional qualities of the first-time principals in County F were uneven.In order to better adapt to the change of responsibilities brought about by the change of positions,the new principal urgently needs to improve his professional quality.Improving the professional quality of the principal depends on his own efforts on the one hand,and external training on the other hand.Therefore,for the new principal It is particularly important to carry out the qualification training for the principal.However,there is still a gap between the current qualification training for principals in F county and the ideal training effect.There are still many problems in the qualification training for principals,mainly including the large difference between the training content and the actual work;the training form is more traditional;the training time is not enough;The involvement of the first principal is not high.The main reasons for these problems are: lack of systematic planning of training content;lack of training teacher resources;imperfect training management;Therefore,based on these reasons,the author puts forward specific optimization strategies by referring to relevant literature,namely: based on the needs of the first-time principal,rationally plan the training content;expand training resources and promote training diversification;strengthen training management and ensure training effects;Improve the incentive mechanism and improve the motivation to participate in training.
