Group Work Alleviating Depression In Rural Breast Cancer Patients ——Take X Hospital Of Baotou As Example

Breast cancer has become the most common cancer in the world.The number of China’s breast cancer patients has increased year by year,incidence rate is 2 times the world average.China’s rural area has a significant increase in the i ncidence of breast cancer.With the change rapidly in medical technology,the mortality of breast cancer is decreasing.However,the trend of mortality in breast cancer is not significant in the vast rural areas of China.In rural areas,breast cancer patients usually only pay attention to the treatment of tumor diseases themselves.Mental health problems are often ignored.Depression plays an important role in the transformation of malignant tumors and seriously threatens the life safety of rural breast cancer patientsBased on the study of alleviating the depression of the breast patients at home and abroad,6 rural breast cancer patients in X Hospital of Baotou were selected as the research subjects in this study.Based on the social work professional kno wledge,supported by the three theories of ABCDE theory,the advantage perspective theory and the social support theory,the survey data were collected by observation method and interview scale method.It is found that the main reasons for depression in rural breast cancer patients are their own character,the fact that they are hard to accept,the fear of cancer,the transformation of personal image and social role,economic pressure and insufficient social support.Therefore,with the help of the working group of mutual aid development,this study carries out intervention activities for rural breast cancer patients with depression,helping rural breast cancer patients form a correct self-cognition,strengthening their sense of efficacy,and improving their support network so as to enable them to achieve holistic health.After the end of the activity,the depression degree of the group was measured before and after the scale,and the team members’ satisfaction and social workers self-assessment were conducted.The assessment showed that the group intervention effectively alleviated the depression of the rural breast cancer patients and achieved good results.Finally,this study puts forward suggestions and suggestions for social work to alleviate the depression of rural breast cancer patients,hoping to provide reference for future related research.The innovation of this article first lies in breaking the tradition,focusing on the rural breast cancer patients,and the intervention is more targeted,which makes the marginal group of rural breast cancer patients get more attention.Secondly,this study breaks through the theoretical research methods,carries out intervention with the practical methods of social work,finds their problems and needs from the perspective of service objects,helps them solve problems and get changes,and realizes the purpose of social work to help others and help themselves.However,because the research object is limited,it can’t represent the overall state of all rural breast cancer patients.There are still some limitations in terms of representativeness.
