Research On Strategies For Improving Employment Competitiveness Of Vocational College Students Under The Background Of Industry-education Integration

In recent years,policies and systems related to "industry-education integration" and "school-enterprise cooperation" have been issued one after another.Adhering to school-enterprise cooperation and promoting the in-depth integration of industry-education has become an important direction of the reform and development of higher vocational education.In terms of higher vocational education,how to adapt to the development requirements of the new situation to promote reform and development,how to highlight the employment competitiveness of higher vocational students,etc.,have become the focus and problem of the development of higher vocational education.In recent years,the problem of college students’ employment has been the focus of attention from all walks of life.As an important part of college students,the employment problem of vocational college students is not only related to the economic operation and livelihood of the whole country,but also the important concern of the government,enterprises,vocational colleges and vocational students.Therefore,how to improve vocational college students’ employment competitiveness under the background of industry-education integration has become an important research topic.On the basis of combing relevant domestic and foreign research literature on vocational college students’ employment competitiveness under the background of industry-education integration,this paper,based on theories such as stakeholder theory and competency theory,deeply analyzes the internal relationship between current policy guidance,vocational talent training,employment market and vocational college students’ employment competitiveness.The employment competitiveness of vocational college students is divided into three parts:basic competitiveness,core competitiveness and environmental competitiveness.In order to further determine the division of dimension and its secondary dimension can more fully describe the fusion under the background of production and education of higher vocational students’ employment competitiveness,this study on 17 expert consultation and interviews,calculation of various dimensions of index weight,and finally determined by three dimensions,22 secondary dimension for higher vocational students’ employment competitiveness,In the ideal state,the employment competitiveness of vocational college students should be core competitiveness > environmental competitiveness > basic competitiveness.Further,based on the components of vocational college students’ employment competitiveness formed by experts’ opinions,the study compiled a questionnaire entitled "Vocational College Students’ Self-Cognition of Employment Competitiveness" to investigate vocational college students in Guangdong Province,and found through statistical analysis that: In fact,vocational college students’ employment competitiveness as a whole is good,the core competitiveness is not prominent vocational college students’ employment advantages,basic competitiveness and environmental competitiveness need to be improved;Vocational college students from different grades,majors,gender,parents education level,their employment competitiveness of the specific dimension of performance is also different.In view of the bottleneck and reasons of vocational college students’ employment competitiveness,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from the five levels of the public,government,enterprises,vocational colleges and vocational students: first,the public should change the concept of disdain for vocational education;Second,the government should improve the level of services and maintain order in the job market.Thirdly,enterprises should strengthen their sense of social responsibility and give play to the leading role of leading enterprises.Fourthly,vocational colleges should fully implement the integration of industry and education,deepen the cooperation between schools and enterprises,and improve the employment service system.Fifthly,vocational college students should increase their employment ability,constantly consolidate the foundation,explore the core,and achieve multidimensional development.
