| The activity of school sports associations is of great significance to the development of school sports and is the need of implementing quality education.Countries continuously for schools in recent years to reduce the financial burden on students’ academic and rich in compulsory education stage student extracurricular activities of relevant policy,in response to a national policy for students to participate in extracurricular activities,to carry out the requirements to reduce the financial burden of students’ academic,this article from the research about the present situation of qiannan city primary school sports club activities,to understand the role of primary school sports clubs in the school sports development,Promote the development of school sports associations.The auther used literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and mathematical statistics method to sdudy 12 schools selected from qiannan district.Investigation their development process,situation and implement activities.The conclusion is as follows:（1）The primary school sports association activities in urban areas of Qiannan district promotes the development of schools’ Physical Education.The development of school sports association activities is mostly 6-8 years,and the club projects develop steadily.All the 12 primary schools have carried out sports club activities.Some of the schools have set up special management departments and management mechanisms,but most of the schools’ management mechanisms are to be perfected.（2）The activities are relatively simple,mostly focusing on these sports such as basketball,football and table tennis.Most of them are carried out 1-2times a week,and each time lasted for 40 minutes or more.The main source of expenditure is from school appropriation,which is lack of social support.Some of the schools lack of process evaluation and assessment on students’ participation in sports club activities,and most schools have no reward mechanism for teachers and students.Teachers and venue equipment still do not meet the needs of sports clubs.（3）Students have a high degree and of satisfaction on the development of sports activities,and the motivation of participation mainly to physical exercise and hobbies.Students’ favorite sports are ranked as basketball,football and table tennis.The main problems in the development of primary school sports clubs in the urban area of Qiannan prefecture are as follows:（1）the management system of club activities and the evaluation and reward mechanism are to be perfected.（2）There are gaps between teachers’ professional skills and club activities.（3）the activities are traditional and single.（4）clubs lack of expenditure support and even site equipment.（5）The frequency and duration of activities are low.According to the investigation results and attribution analysis,the following suggestions are put forward for the development of primary school sports associations in the urban area of Qiannan district:（1）Strengthen the management system construction of school sports association activities;（2）Updating and improve the assessment mechanism;（3）Establishing scientific and effective reward mechanism;（4）Reducing the burden of teachers’ extra work and urge teachers’ professional development;（5）The overall layout of school equipment and sports projects;（6）Developing home-school co-education and expand funding sources;（7）Seizing the new opportunities brought by national policies. |
